Parents advised reading before viewing a film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity:  Shirtless shots of various male characters; a couple of scenes of a reunited couple kissing/embracing. Mentions of Wonder Woman's beauty/attractiveness.

Violence & Gore: Official MPAA rating: PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action and violence.

Profanity:  A few uses of strong language, including "s--t," "s--thole," "a--hole," "hell, "damn," "Jesus," and "son of a bitch."

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Adults drink in pubs and alone. Aquaman downs a bottle of liquor and then throws it into the sea. Bruce and Diana have a drink together.

Frightening/Intense Scenes:  Parademon maybe fighting for some younger viewers so parents beware of this

Story: Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But, despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes- Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash- it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Likes: Please don't judge me like the Hollywood critics. I have to honestly say this is the first time- even though it pains me- I have to agree with the Hollywood critics on this DC film because of two factors: Warner Bros. CEO, Kevin Tsujihara, demanding that the film be 2 hours; and Joss Whedon, which I will explain in the dislikes.

After explaining this, is the film really that bad? ...Mmmmm no- there are parts of this film that Snyder actually got right. The Flash's character was also played brilliantly by Ezra Miller- I know a lot of people were worried about him and the suit, but it does explain in the film the pseudo-science,  as well as where this version of the Flash is in his life (SPOILER ALERT:  he hasn't met his mother’s killer yet, which we all know is Reverse Flash)

Jason Momoa pretty much made Aquaman badass again, giving us a lone wolf character that hasn't fully embraced his Atlantean destiny yet, and from what we’ve been told, this won't happen until the solo film. Although Mamoa brings a badass character to the big screen, he did give a funny moment: a hilarious threat to the Flash which I laughed at.

With Cyborg, this was actually tastefully done in showing a character that lost who he was and trying to come to terms with being a cyborg while still remaining human, which gave the character a human side instead of just a machine.

The way Superman was brought back in the film was ingenious and they handled it brilliantly because if someone died and was resurrected, they wouldn't be the same. Those were pretty intense moments which actually connect the scenes of BvS with the nightmare scenes. If Batman didn't do what he did, things would have gone differently.

Visually, the film is stunning. Although there is a problem with the concept, which I will explain later, the build-up of the film is great, with Steppenwolf being the villain. The big battle scene from the trailers was a flashback story showing the first battle and background of Steppenwolf. The deities Zeus, Athena with the Bow of Orion, and Ares-although brief- cameo in the very brief battle.

The Flash’s running effects were amazingly done. The cinematography was better than Quicksilver’s slow-motion scenes in X-Men: Apocalypse. I agree that this film is great- some areas were well made- but sadly, there are areas of this film where I agree with Hollywood critics.

Dislikes: The tone of the film lacks substance, much like other Marvel films. Joss Whedon’s attempt to make it a little lighter resulted in the film lacking substance. I think Joss was a mistake to bring on. I hope DC and Warner Bros. see this because he is not the right director to be doing DC films, sorry joss you're a good director but this film lost it, soul.

The main problem this film had was the 2 hour show time. Even I could see this. it needed an extra 40 to 50 minutes to flow better. The 2 hours that the CEO of Warners Bros. demanded was a letdown.

If this film had a been bit longer, Superman’s scenes and the ending fight wouldn’t have felt flat. Steppenwolf's character felt like he had been nerfed down a little; the fight felt a little too easy and had no dramatic feel to it. The big bad boss should've been at the end when Steppenwolf was losing; this would have saved the film and given a better fight for Superman.

If I could describe this film in a few words, it felt more like bad sex- great build up with a poor finish.

If you have seen this film already, what did you think? Do you agree with what I said, or do you have your own opinion? Let us know in the comments.

Overall: Great film, brilliant visual effects, felt like it could've been better.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 8 out of 10 for overall concept, could've been a 10
