Story: Thrust into a citywide manhunt for a duo of cop killers, NYPD detective Andre Davis begins to uncover a massive conspiracy that links his fellow police officers to a criminal empire and must decide who he is hunting and who is actually hunting him. During the manhunt, Manhattan is completely locked down for the first time in its history - no exit or entry to the island including all 21 bridges.

Likes: Normal when it comes to cop thrillers sometimes there a hit or miss films, due to the fact some films can be a little boring or predictable when we have seen a certain style before. When it comes to 21 bridges while a pretty solid cast and performances the film, unfortunately, falls into the average cop thriller while surprisingly still being good to watch in places.

It's a good chance to see Chadwick Boseman play a more serious role outside of the comic book movies giving him a more diverse look at his acting which show just how good of an actor he is, giving the audience a believable role of the guy that lost his father on the force, who grow up to be one of the best Cops on the force that everyone seems to hate but get the job done.

While the plot of the film is pretty weak with the predictable nature of the film as it jumps way too soon into the plot revealing the twist way too soon, as two guys during a drug robbery stumble on a bigger situation than they realize. Which ends up in a massive manhunt across the city with Cops and those involved in the drug after them, with pretty solid acting from Stephan James and Taylor Kitsch who are on the run, end up in a street to street battle giving the audience some entertainment Value the film sadly lacks in screenwriting.

Giving 21 bridges it's average cop style thriller that seems to keep it pace yet lack in areas of the film where the film could have been stretch out a little to give a better build-up to the events that happen, which is why I feel this film was a little rushed in place. But would I recommend this film, yes I would as the film isnt really bad like I said the film is averagely good and pretty watchable but could've been better writen in places.

Dislikes: The Only issue's I have with the film is the lack of build-up, the film kind of throws the audience in straight away without any build to the events, which is why ive said this film feels a little rushed in places while the acting was solid, its let down by the lack of screenwriting for film which makes it an average film.

Overall: Pretty average Cop thriller, solid acting, good action scenes, could've been better written in places.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 7 out of 10 for Cop thriller.
