Parents advised reading before viewing a film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.
Sex & Nudity: There is one scene in a bed sex seem to have happened by nothing seen
Violence & Gore: Moderate portrayals of violence with some details, are shown, albeit justified by context.
The film contains prolonged scenes of violence that are scattered throughout the film.
These include car chase sequences, dealing with heavy blows through punches and kicks, as well as the use of firearms and explosives.
Some of the stronger scenes of violence depict characters who are implied to have killed their victims by breaking their necks and spines; a scene where a soldier is implied to have been thrown over a railing into a spinning turbine; and some scenes of property destruction where a convoy of vehicles is crushed by a wrecking ball and vehicles that are flung over a building's ledge.
These scenes are depicted through quick cuts and do not contain strong details.
Profanity: The word "f**k" is featured, but it is used infrequently.
The film contains an utterance of the expletive "f**k", making the film appropriate for a teen audience.
There are also some instances of mild language used, such as the terms "shit", "bitch", "damn", "ass", "ass hole", "bastard", etc.
Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: None
Frightening/Intense Scenes: There are a few intense fight scenes through the film that are pretty brutal, so viewer discretion is advised for a 12A, really this should have been a 15 cert.
Story: Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game and the rest of the crew has been exonerated-the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman seduces Dom into the world of crime he can't seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before. From the shores of Cuba and the streets of New York City to the icy plains of the Arctic Barents Sea, the elite force will crisscross the globe to stop an anarchist from unleashing chaos on the world's stage... and to bring home the man who made them a family
Likes : It's been four years since "Paul Walker" "RIP" tragic death in 2013 that shock the world and all eye have been on this film wondering whether it would be the same without him in the 8th film, which is something I was wondering my self to how they would handle this in the franchise.
I pleasantly surprised that they handle this well and I'll be honest they up their game with this movie to the point you hardly noticed that Paul walkers character isn't in the film, instead of doing some lame killing off the character like so many other franchises have done with certain characters they've handled this situation with the character in a respectful way thank god.
Going in to this film is not as straightforward as it seems like there is a lot deception and twist going through the story which from the trailers you wonder what the hell is going on with Dom and why is he turning on his own family?, it not until have way through you understand why Dom is doing what he is doing which is good because at first, it leaves you to think what is going.
Charlize Theron (Cipher) wow this role just shows how amazing she is as an actress and brilliant at play the villainess in this film, because what the trailers don't show you is that this character she is portraying is this vicious cold heart straight face manipulative evil bitch, she plays it with class special the emotions you feel when she pulling on Dom (Vin Diesel) heartstrings you just get this sense of feeling you just want to shout out you "F**king bitch" at the screen.
This is how good she plays this role as you get a sense of her background as well you notice that thing start to add up to why she targeted the group and Dom, this gave the film a story to continue within the franchise.
Dwayne Johnson you cant doubts his ability to make a film great especially playing hops in the last three film's which was nothing compared to this movie, Dwayne character here was a beast I'm not joking special the prison fight scene "oh my god" there was a few moment even I laughed at.
The main funny humour came from Dwayne (Hobbs) and Jason Statham (Deckard) character here they give this macho man banter between each other, it got to the point where it was just funny which even the audience in the cinema was laughing.
This is great for a film when you get this reaction because the humour break up the tension in the film giving it this balance, Jason kind of stole the limelight a little special with the plane scene which I don't think I've laughed so hard at; which is surprising as this isn't meant to be a comedy film but this scene when you see it yourself I bet your be laughing as well.
I think prison scene and the plane scene will be the one everyone will be talking about for a while as this scene are the two scene that stood out more, although this film was good there was a few issue which I while pointing out in dislikes.
Car chase stunt work choreography is brilliant giving a realistic scene and well as the well choreograph fight scenes, its theme also borrow a concept that is the main theme of "watchdogs" be able to hack anything which is brilliant show throughout the film with its show track as well really add to a thrilling joy ride for fast and furious franchise.
I'll be honest Director: F. Gary Gray has done well with the continuation of this franchise in such a way you handily notice that "Paul Walker" isn't needed, which is great because this allows the franchise to continue without his character being involved and can introduce a new character.
Where this franchise will go next as they've said this franchise will have 14 to 15 films is anyone guesses, but after seeing this and the way they handled Paul walkers character not being there and giving the film some grounded story I'm looking forward to the next film.
Question to you guys/girls are you going to see this film? if you have already seen this film what did you think of it, do you feel they handled Paul walkers character not being there well or do you think fast and the furious 7 should've been the last film?
Dislikes: There is a few scene the C.G.I was great I did notice this special with the scenes with the cars, the C.G.I was slightly off kind of didn't look real as the cars were falling.
There was a slight editing error with a certain scene that was an abrupt change of scene to other which I thought was odd.
Someone the fights scenes which I've expressed this before I hate which director need to stop doing is the shaky camera effect, this is not good as the audience what to see the action, if you're doing shaky camera to mask errors in the film this shows you don't know what you are doing.
Overall: a Great film for its 8th film in the franchise, Great acting and Charlize Theron great villainess which is worth watching this film for. Great humour.
Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 8.9 out of 10 for its 8th film
