Story: Many journeys through life take us through hard times to wonderful happy time before we die, it makes you wonder how would it feel for a dog to live these same lives? Well sit up and relax and watch a dogs purpose as you discover through several lifetimes and owners a dogs journey from his own eye.
Likes: This is why I love films in all its form special narrative type film like "The Book Thief " and some will look at me thinking why this film, what is about this film that you love and why does it capture your heart as a moviegoer? Well, that because of the way this film has been written with a very emotional heartbreaking warmhearted feel that brings the emotions out of you. TMZ should be ashamed of them-self because there was no act of cruelty anywhere in this film to which they made so much of a fuss over.
What this film does is takes you on this journey through the eye of a dog soul on a journey of love, pain and laughter as you see through the eyes of a very human heart of a dogs life, it really captures you an audience with its warmhearted approach and narrative from Josh Gad who voiced all the breeds of dogs through it lifespan of Bailey / Buddy / Tino / Ellie.
Kind of like Marley and me this film is a tear jerker as the story pull on every heart string you have. to the point by the end of the film you a complete mess in tear, this is why this film is a great family movie. When a film can draw you in and make you feel every moment this tell you that the director knows what he or she is doing with the film story.
Although Some acting was adequate and somewhat forgettable at times you have to realise this film isn't based on character, it revolves around the soul and eyes are a dog that past through many live's in a such a beautiful way it warms the heart. It really gives you this scene of love between of Man's Best Friend
Through the whole film, you get this great sense of a dog trying to find out what it's purpose in life is, which give this message about a bond that carries through life that Dogs and any pets need love just as much as you do.
Overall the production value of this film is excellent! Dennis Quaid role in this film particular turns in a very heartfelt performance even tho he was a cameo in the film, but Dennis Actually made the film worth watching until the very end with a very heartfelt heartwarming moment where two soul reunites it this moment that just has you in tears.
Seriously do not believe in PETA or TMZ this film is worth watching if you miss this great family film your miss out on one of the most heartfelt emotional very positive and uplift film to hit our screens.
Question to the audience have you seen this film what did you think of it? our you planning to watch it or do you believe what the PETA and TMZ said about cruelty in the film which they lied?
Dislikes: the Certain scene was a little short would have loved to have seen more long scenes, but for a 1hr 40min film you can only put so much in a film.
Overall: Great family movie, Not to be missed, very heartfelt heartwarming emotion journey through a dog's eyes.
