Story: Ray Garrison, an elite soldier who was killed in battle, is brought back to life by an advanced technology that gives him the ability of super human strength and fast healing. With his new abilities, he goes after the man who killed his wife, or at least, who he believes killed his wife. He soon comes to learn that not everything he learns can be trusted. The true question his: Can he even trust himself?
Likes: I'm not very Familiar with the character bloodshot while the film does explain how he become indestructible, giving the audience some sense of his character. While Vin diesel is the perfect choice along with Eiza González and Guy Pearce, the film has some direction which is some what ok, with some good moments of entertainment, the visual effect were good but Sadly this film is flawed could've been better written.
Dislikes: Dont get me wrong, the film is an Average film at best and some where generic at times, but the think really here with this film that drags the film down and almost kills the film, is its expedition in the direction of story using the same plot to drive the film forward became very predictable and boring, it become this throw away film just to put his character on film.
Its ashame since Vin Diesel actually does suit the role but judge from what i saw there is a problem with the expedition of repeat a certain plot points and the direction of the film which should have been better written.
The CGI as well, im not sure what the budget for this film was but having the fight for allin CGI just looked so bad on screen, while the nano bite scene were good, this film as a whole is just bad.
Overall: Some good visual effect, Average at best.
Rating: 4.5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 6.7 out of 10 for Comic concept.
