Parents advised reading before viewing the film as some scenes may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: In an animated flashback, a cartoon woman's buttocks are shown.

There is really nothing inappropriate in the movie except a poster visible that features gratuitous nudity.

A dead man is shown in his boxers in a short scene.

Violence & Gore: Several gory depictions of characters getting eaten, beaten, stabbed, hanged, strangled, impaled, shot, and poisoned - all in a supernatural context.

Extremely frightening imagery and transformations with blood and gore detail.

Most of the eponymous carnage occurs in such dim lighting that most of the gory details are hard to see, significantly reducing the grossness component.

Eyes are gouged.

A headless body is seen.

Venom bites a head off, with a very brief spurt of blood.

FAR more violent than the first one. Has several severe depictions of gore. Heads to being eaten off, in graphic detail.

Carnage uses two of his tendrils to brutally impale two prison guards. He is also shown killing guards by throwing them around, biting their heads off, and brutally impaling a guard with his tongue. Very little blood shown, but still pretty intense

In the supernatural context, carnage can create large holes in his bodies which is graphic in context.

Profanity: At least 1 "f" word, 11 "s" words, 2 slang terms using female genitals ("pussy"), 1 using male ones ("dick"), 4 asses (1 used with "hole"), 3 hells, 2 S.O.B.s, 1 crap (said as "crapola"), 1 damn

The middle finger gesture is used.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: A man stomps out a cigarette butt, some beer is drunk. Wine is served at a restaurant and a character drinks it

Frightening/Intense Scenes: Cletus Kasady is a deranged serial killer who's presence and manner are really creepy and unsettling. When he bonds with Carnage the film becomes really dark and intense.

a prisoner tells a woman he will cut her face off and wear it to a party

Carnage has a violent nature within his appearance.

Venom is extremely frightening as a character

There are also scary scenes even adults might be scared of.

Story: Eddie Brock struggles to adjust to his new life as the host of the alien symbiote Venom, which grants him super-human abilities in order to be a lethal vigilante. Brock attempts to reignite his career by interviewing serial killer Cletus Kasady, who becomes the host of the symbiote Carnage and escapes prison after a failed execution.

Likes: I am giving this a fair and honest review, I went into this film not knowing what to expect, there were a few things that I loved about the film, but there was a hell of a lot I didn't like. For a sequel let be honest here it wasn't a perfect sequel nor was it a great film, in fact, it was a meh film in retro spec, but don't get me wrong, venom was funny in places and I got a few laughable moments here and there, the acting was great.

I mean Woody Harrelson was perfect for the Creep serial killer Cletus Kasady which he did add his own spin of creepiness which add little extra to darkness to the character, as well as Carnage design and attitude was a perfect adaptation to live-action, but the only thing about this film was that carnage iconic presence in the film was completely wasted, this is why I can't really say this film was good.

Dislikes: Waste opportunity on this film would be an understatement, there is way too much wasting time with scenes that didn't need to be in the film, when it could've been more focused on Carnage, Doing evil stuff around the city instead of going after what seems the love of his life.

Carnage onscreen was perfect but they completely wasted his character which could've been one of the greatest villains to the venom films, instead, he feels like a complete throw-away villain just to get the character out the way. It was done in such a lazy way I'm very disappointed in this sequel, that felt rushed and felt over before it even got started, the made the final fight between two iconic characters feel so disappointing due to the lack of character development in Cletus Kasady with the Carnage symbiote.

Overall: Lazy written story, lack of character devolovment despite carnage design being perfect

Rating: 4.2 out of 5 for Entertainment / 5.7 out of 10 for a sequel.
