Parents advised reading before viewing the film as some scenes may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.
Sex & Nudity: Some kisses thought the movie.
A single verbal reference of sex.
A man says "I'm butt ass naked" but we only see about mid-torso and up of his body
Violence & Gore: Several characters are hit and punched a lot with brief blood detail at times.
Scenes include characters battling with fantastical powers and tech, as well as scenes of hand-to-hand combat which feature heavy punches
A person is pummeled almost to death on 2 separate occasions.
Profanity: There are mild sex references. Language is largely mild ('s**t', 'a**') or very mild ('God', 'hell', 'damn', 'screwed'). There is an incomplete use of "What the f***", and a man carries a mug that has a pictorial play on strong language.
One cut-off use of "F**k" and a mug reads "Oh for (picture of a fox) sake," which sounds phonetically like "Oh, for f**k sake."
Additional swears and variations on "shit," "damn," "goddamn," "piss," "ass," and "hell." Consistent with the franchise.
Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: There is an undetailed drug reference
Frightening/Intense Scenes: The film has a much more intense atmosphere compared to the other Spider-Man films in the MCU thus far
Scenes include people fleeing from explosions, falling from heights, and brief jump scares as different villains appear
Story: With Spider-Man's identity now revealed, Peter asks Doctor Strange for help. When a spell goes wrong, dangerous foes from other worlds start to appear, forcing Peter to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.
Likes: Spiderman no way home, is it truly any good? Well let not beat around the bush and give this film high praise, the film is overhyped let's not mistake that. What I mean overhyped is there are certain scenes that are overhyped in certain areas because they came across as ok is that it scene, that does slightly let the film down. But that said this film is a lot better than the other two Holland spiderman films, as this has an overall tone of no one is safe and everyone can die at any moment with a darker tone, that mistake has consequences.
That is why I feel this film is a lot better than the other two films, Yes he was in school there had to be some element of school life, but they just came across safe and childish which gave the films an overall too safe feel, like the writers were too scared to take risks with, it does feel with No way home the writers are taking a risk with things that pay off.
These risks in the writing allow this film to be a lot darker in tone while setting up a further tone for the up-and-coming Multiverse of madness in Dr strange 2, Also, this story takes risks also allows the moment of redemption, in certain part which is great for the film, while allowing the moment of emotion and sadness that did actually bring a tear to my eyes.
What the other two films did which I felt was wrong for a spiderman film, does a great thing by straying away from the avenger's style concept allow spiderman to be his own hero and make his own mistakes, while he does have help, it gives off a concept that he can do his job without the need for others, while yes this film has more enemy which he does need help with, but I feel this movie is how Spiderman should be written going forward.
But is this worth watching, yes it is, I can recommend watching this this
Dislikes: It's more of the overhype side of the story that makes it a predictable film, which I find lets this film down just slightly, While the film is good there is a slight issue with the Pacing and certain joke didn't land right, apart from this film overall is good.
Overall: Predictable and overhyped in area, some joke and pace issues, but a Good story with a darker tone.
Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 8.6 out of 10 for darker tone spiderman film.
