Likes: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is it really good? I can honestly say 100% yes, paramount studios have knocked this film out of the park again with a very successful Sequel, yes I know that is too early to say but if you have watched this film you will see what I mean. The blue blur is back in action with the new character tails which was seen at the end of the first film with the Original voice actress Collen O'Shanussy, which might I add did an awesome job with this animation.

Holy cow Jim Carrey was on top form for this Sequel, actually giving a more outrageous performance with a bit of insanity to the character which made the Egg man so much better, Edris Ebla Damn his voice acting is amazing, but not only that he's voice was a perfect match for Knuckles, who was given a little bit of back story to why he's after Sonic, which was perfectly done.

Not only is this film a perfect game adaptation again, but there is also an immense abundance of Easter Eggs and callbacks, to the original Sonic 2 and sonic 3 games, with levels like lava, traps, and snow, not to mention Egg man robots showing the Original wasp drones which were amazing to watch on screen.

The movie as a whole had this calm and humor as well as entertainment value that your family and fans of the Sonic franchise will love. That scene towards the end HOLY SHIT !!!!! they actually went there, my jaw hit the floor, and tears in my eyes of joy and amazement at what I was seeing made this the strongest 3rd act in any game-adapted film.

The post-credit scene is gonna break the internet as fans are gonna shout to the rooftops about what coming in the 3rd film, when they revealed it, the level of emotion for superfans of sonic their jaw is gonna hit the floor, I honestly can not wait for a 3rd film has this is a highly recommended film to watch

Dislikes: There was one scene that kind of slowed the pace a little, but it wasn't enough to say it affected the film.

Overall: Perfect sequel, with the strongest 3rd act ever.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 10 out of 10 for sequel adaption
