Likes : I thought Prometheus was confusing with certain things, "Alien Covenant", is very complex in its own story with the way the story twists and turns which I had to watch twice, which could be too over complex for some people to understand on their first viewing which could be it's undoing in the box office.

But I will say this, the film is extremely bloody special the violent action scene with the neo-morphs and proto-morph, these scenes can be overbearing on the blood and gore, so if you get queasy around blood this might not be a film for you.

Its not normal for me to have to watch a film twice which normally only take me one view to understand the story, but after the second view I fully understand where Ridley Scott is going with this film, which shows a mixture of a well know storyline in the alien comic book franchise with the concept of the mad scientist mixed with human understanding of psychology.

If you go into this film expecting the original xenomorph's from the 1979 "Alien" you might be disappointed as what I noticed from this film is that these are a re-creation of the what has been done centuries in the alien franchise timeline.

As Ridley Scot did confirm the ship on LV-426 has been their century's before Prometheus landed on LV- 223 in 2093, but the ship originated from lv-223 which I can confirm that xenomorph species and the way this film is, that the xenomorphs we see in "Alien" and "Aliens" are the original source.

But what I love is the fact this film does answer a lot of questions if your paying attention to whats going on especially in the background, it reveals a big question on how the ovomorph eggs are formed without a queen, which is a theory I had age's ago that has now been confirmed in this film which I was actually surprised I was right. (Can't go in into detail as it will give away spoilers)

The acting in the film is incredibility from all cast Katherine Waterston (Danials) which most people were trying to compare her to Sigourney (REALLY !!), ya no Katherine holds her own in this film play a very sweet but takes no crap type of woman that in certain situation watch out. She does a great job in this role as well as the other cast in the film all amazing acting.

Danny McBride was the one I think everyone was watching for as this is basically the first film he has done a serious role for dam does he pull this off, showing that he's not the typical stereotype actor play comedy roles; this film show just how diverse Danny can be special with the emotional moments this film has which had me in tears at moments.

The reason for this is the way this film has been throughout it's not just your typical crew as you see from the trailers, these are actually couples which raises the steaks in this film because they have someone to lose. Which "boy oh boy" this film get extremely nasty at times which is what any alien fan wanted, with it bloodiest ever moments and intense scene that keep you on the edge of your seat.

One thing that stood out more which I have to mention is David (Fassbender) if I were to say this film was mainly based on the alien's that would be a lie as the main theme of this film is David and what he is doing. From what we see in this film is David behaviour is very cold and very dark which some might not pick up on but play both part Walter and David is incredible but you can see.

The best way I could describe this without giving away to much is Cain and able from the biblical sense, just from the quote David is speaking we hear in the trailer, "Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair" which is from Percy Bysshe Shelley poem Ozymandias, which is a fitting poem from what David has become which is why I said the relationship although brief between David and Walter is like a Cain and able concept which works for the film.

The cinematography is amazing with the C.G.I and location blend together creating a world environment reveal some interest developments on how this black liquid has different proprieties in create things that can push air born spore organism that we see from the trailer which gives the audience a more depth insight, but-but this film still does leave us with answers that need answering.

The one thing I will say most of the stuff given in the trailers and clips are not in the film, so I would expect a director cut of the film, not that the film needed these scenes because Fassbender carried this film with its twists and the outstanding acting along with the other casting.

Would I say the film is perfect? not really sure I could saying anything on that as I noticed a few missed opportunity but the main focus of this film is on David.

Question for you did this film answer some question for you or did it complete confuse you? What did you think of the film as a whole?

Dislikes One casting in the film which was an utter waste of time, they might as well get an unknown actor for this role James Franco 😩, seriously what was the point (when you see the film you know why I'm saying this)

I would've of preferred the proto-xenomorph to have had more screen time, which is something I think the fans might frown on because it not until the third act you see it, even then it pretty short, but I do understand that the film is mainly based on David which could be confusing to most cinema-goers and fans alike.

Overall: Great story around David, a very complex story-line, great new species of Xenos

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 9.1 out of 10 for a story around David.
