Story: In the pandemic thriller, Patient Zero, humanity is battling intelligent, adrenaline-fueled creatures born from a viral super-strain. After being bitten, human survivor Morgan (Matt Smith) realizes he is asymptomatic and can communicate with the infected, leading the last survivors on a hunt for Patient Zero and a cure.

Likes: Looking at the poster you think oh god not another zombie film, but that would be far from the truth. The plot around this film is a virus as mutated the human body instead of making them into some flesh-eating zombies, they've become some hybrid intelligence species that are extremely violent in nature.

The film has a simple plot well cast with some well know actors and actress, some you may recognise  Stanley Tucci, Matt Smith, John Bradley (game of thrones) and the beautiful Natalie Dormer who's playing a scientist trying to find a cure.

Action wise the film is very violent in nature with a lot of bloody scenes that you would expect from a typical zombie film, the cast performance is brilliant special from Natalie Dormer who very nature, that's not only beautiful but intelligent someone, you really don't what to get on the wrong side of, portraying a very strong woman

Matt Smith playing the main protagonist of the film, with an interesting twist to his backstory, which makes the film pretty interesting to watch. Stanley Tucci was an interesting plot twist to this film, which I can't give away to much because it would reveal the story of the film.

What great is the fact film work sometimes when you only have one writer, writing the screenplay for the film, lt like they say too many cooks in the kitchen, ruin the broth. Which is why this film is actually pretty good, it doesn't force the typical zombie genre concept, it been done in a good twist making the infected hybrids which are good for the story.

I recommend this film if you enjoy a good story twisted.

Dislikes: I did notice a few extras that seem to slightly not know what they were doing, toward the end there acting as slightly off.

Overall:  Great story, good acting, good plot twist. Good twist on the zombie genre

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 8 out of 10 for the concept
