Now, the universe's most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.

Likes: I can understand a certain amount of reviews about this film being mixed thoughts that because after watching this film I can understand where they are coming from, Not that this isnt a great film its the fact the comedy side does kind of makes you feel awkward laughing at certain moments.

Although the comedy is funny at times, it does tend to get a little too much at the time when the film is trying to be serious, you feel a bit sick laughing at moments when it gets brutal but some scene does have that comical moment you can help but laugh at.

Like every Predator film, this doesn't hold back on the gore and blood especial when it comes to mutation when the predator kills, Although some may be thinking it a predator film we've seen it all before, Shane Black has created something very different here.

From what I gathered from the story is there must be some type of Civil war going on between the faction which I feel has something to do with human DNA, as the super predator seems to be a new enhance speice of the predator.

What I wasn't expecting is that the predator seems to respect the earth in a kind of way they gave them a gift, I can say what it is, but the scene before the credit roll reveals this gift, my jaw hit the floor which makes this film worth watching just for the end scene.

Which make me wish it was used in the film, but hopefully, this gets a sequel so we can see it action. The acting is solid especial with Olivia Munn she delivers a badass woman that takes risks in an awesome way, Boyd Holbrook playing the main star Quinn McKenna delivers a line that sounds like me when it comes to protecting the family, but also delivers a badass attuide that fear just washes over him. Sterling K. Brown brings a charismatic almost villian style role to the film, in a brilliant way really set up who his character is, Especially very Knowledgeable about the predator, which give the film a slight edge.

So you looking at a pretty badass film in places although the loonies bring a certain comedic role to the film, they also bring that badass as well. The film does a few nods to the original predator being a sequel to the original using the same music score composed by Alan Silvestri which bring some element of the original to the film.

Especially certain scene as well gives a nod to the Arnold predator, when it comes to making a predator film is very hard because you can't capture the mystery and suspense of the original because the predator is out in the open now. Everyone knows what they look like, so for Shane black to create this film must have been tricky, but he actually pulled this off in some ways with an entertaining film.

Would I recommend this film, yes but don't expect a masterpiece you be fine.

Dislikes: The flaw with this film is actually the comedy, yes it funny at the time, but its kind of hard to laugh when the film is being serious, this can give the audience mixed feeling on how to take this film, which could be a problem for this film. But that all really wrong, everything else is good.

Overall: Great acting, Great entertainment, Bloody and gory like most predator film with a story twist.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 8.9 out of 10 for Sequel
