After the tragedy of their cat being killed by a truck, Louis resorts to burying it in the mysterious pet cemetery, which is definitely not as it seems, as it proves to the Creeds that sometimes, dead is better

Likes: First im a fan of the Stephen King movies, Mist being one of his top movies ive seen, Coming from someone that watched the original Pet Sematary film, yes the film does copy a lot of scene from the original which is why I was a little mixed with it.

But there are a lot of things this reboot changes which works for this new version, especial teh atmosphere, unlike the original with the Bland stone circle burial ground, this version gives you an extremely creepy dark atmospheric marshland which really adds the film spookiness.

With a few scenes that will make you jump and the creepiness of certain scenes sp,e element of this film does make the film look better than its original film. Although Pet Sematary has a sequel which was more of a comedy horror than it original film, it didn't do so well.

The film does a great job in explaining certain element especially why everything buried in that certain place come back but not the same way, which the film pretty much explain itself later in the film, I do feel that if the audience has already seen the original they might find them self compare this or just think they have seen it before.

For me personally, the film has some good points that I liked but Ultimately the film lack that pushing power to be far from it original, though it does do something that a nod to the original, plus a few disturbing scenes it's good but not as good as it could've been.

Dislikes: The biggest Issue I had with this film, especial with t great acting from all teh cast members the pacing ultimately kills the screws and atmosphere being a snail pace it becomes so slow it almost boring to watch until the 3rd of the film went thing kick off.

This is the only issue I had with this film as everything was good, it that pacing issue really kills the film.

The other issue is that is a check ist type film from typical horror film there nothing special other than a few new different scenes from the original but that about it.

Overall: Atmospheric dark somewhat creepy, slow pacing with burial disturbing and creepy moment with a few jump scenes.

Rating: 3 out of 5 for Entertainment / 6 out of 10 for Reboot concept.
