StoryDetermined to keep Annabelle from wreaking more havoc, demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home, placing her "safely" behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest's holy blessing. But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target--the Warrens' ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends.

Likes: From the Conjuring to conjuring 2 with serval spinoffs like the nun, la la Llorona and now three Annabelle film feature a doll that possesses a demonic spirit that loves to play with people minds is back, Only this time its where it belongs trap in a holy warded Cabinet lock away in a special room of the warren house.

I will admit from the first Annabelle film wasn't great only because the film was kind of drawing off its own story, then came Annabelle creation which we got a much better story going forward that was generally frightening and when it comes to this third film I can honestly say its better than expected.

You can tell that a lot of the film is influenced by James wan writing because when it comes to the dark atmosphere of the film its spot on the point where it draws you in to ever shadow when it comes to the lighting effects with minimal lighting really adds to the mod of the film.

Though most of the film is Based inside the house of the warrens, it does give a believable story of what could happen if the doll was ever let out of the glass case, Especial what good is the explanation of of how ghost and spirit use object to trave, they don't possess the object that just attaches its self to an object to move, this was spot on in the film giving a more realistic feel.

Katie SarifeMadison Iseman and Mckenna Grace performances were spot on in giving the audience a believable moment when the shit hit the fan, the haunting starts happening, the way they portray stressful moments and fear in not understand what's going on the way thing happen for them, they all give perfect performance through this film.

We do get a brief background story on certain casing the warren has done and few are actually being used as a puppet to frighten the children throughout the film, with one chilling moment with the coins. But there was one moment in this film that did slighty take me out the film, even those I understood what they were going for in this film which I'l explain better in the dislike, while those moments were kind of pointless the rest of the film is surprisingly good.

With its spot of dark atmospheric mood, there is the moment this film truly getting you on edge, though some moment is predictable where other arnt because sometime the film will give you a moment your waiting for something to happen but then it doesn't, it throws you off from what comes next, this is how great this film is, keep you on your toes.

But I do think now that they've done a third Annabelle film the dolls been laid to rest trap in a blessed warded cabinet, I think its time to move the story on to the other haunting investigation like they did with Conjuring 2, maybe explore the crooked man  haunting or one of the other like the Amityville haunting investigation and put the Annabelle stories to rest I think if they keep going with the Annabelle storyline this conjuring universe they are trying to create will get boring.

But this is a film I highly recommend going to watch.

Dislikes: Trouble with haunting is I can believe in ghost and demons but the crypto-zoology side is hard for me to be convinced since there isnt much evidence other than legends and hearsay, which is why a Certain moment in this film involving a male character though I get what they were trying to go with, did take me out of the film slighty in these moments.

Even though it was a pretty cool moment it was kind of set up poorly and a little dumb which feel could have been cut from the film, it would have made a difference to the film.

The other thing is costume design, it didnt feel like the film is set in the 70s which was kind of off in a way but forgivable.

Overall: Great story for a third film, Some spot of creepy moments, Frightening and Dark.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 8 out of 10
