Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking:
  • CJ's mother Gloria is portrayed as an alcoholic, though not abusive and in no way glorified or portrayed as "cool." In fact, it is a pretty good representation of why you do not want to become an alcoholic.

Story: A dog finds the meaning of his own existence through the lives of the humans he meets

Likes: Normal when it comes to the sequel they are very rarely to excessed it first film but from a Dog purpose to a Dogs journey this story is an incredibly heartfelt story about the bond between an owner and his/her dog which become about of family. The conclusion to this story is beyond satisfying that almost every dog owner can relate to on some level.

The journey of Bailey (voiced by Josh Gad) continues as his purpose extends past Ethan and Hannah story from a dog purpose to this time looking over CJ, Ethan's step-granddaughter. While being overly sentimental and manipulative at times as it really does pull on the heartstrings, the good things is that film never tries to reach beyond its grasp give the audience a Heartfelt story.

But be prepared for one hell of a tear-jerker as this film throughout the film will have you in tears, im not joking this film made me cry 30 mins into the film, there was moment throughout this film seriously pulls on the heart, which dog owns can relate to.

Ultimately this is one of the best family films you want to watch with your family, as the level of emotions and rollercoaster that will have you in tears, with beautiful writen and well-directed film that has a satisfying ending if you a dog lover you will enjoy.

Very rarely ive seen a film improve itself and take it concept even further Gail Mancuso has done a fantastic job along with the writers bring this story to a whole new level of a sweet, emotional and beautiful journey of Bailey.

Dislikes: My only nitpick is while the films main focus is on bailey, the film tense to focus a little too much at time's with the human character, while I understand what they were going with Bailey bridging a love that's meant to be, I think it focuses just a tad too much of the other character.

Overall: Heartfelt journey in the life of bailey, emotional tear-jerker, satisfying family film.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 9.6 out of 10 Concept for a sequel
