Story: Lawman Luke Hobbs and outcast Deckard Shaw form an unlikely alliance when a cyber-genetically enhanced villain threatens the future of humanity.
Likes: Right im gonna say this from a full viewing of this film it's gonna be a love or hate the film, Is the film Good? yes, could of it been better? yes, I could've been, but as a whole, this film wasnt that bad, ya there are a few areas in which you can kind of be nitpicky about the film, but it's a film that knows what it is and doesn't overplay it, which is a good thing as it very self-aware and play off that with cheesy and over the top action.
Unless you get sarcastic humor you might find that some of the banter is off or you don't get the jokes so that may play in you not liking the film, but Dwayne "the rock" Johnson and Jason Statham chemistry is awesome on screen as they play off each other in this High testosterone throw male insults at each other which sometimes is absolutely Hilarious.
Damn the beautiful Vanessa Kirby can seriously Kickass, with her performance in the film she like the balance between Hobbs and shaw, she comes off amazing in this film that can hold her own, this is how you create a strong female role without the political view poisoning her character, She should be in more Action style film because she good.
Idris Elba Damn what a performance as the villain of the film, playing this advances nanotech villian like an Evil super villian you would find in a James bond film, though he's the main villain, there is a bigger boss behind The scenes which I have a feeling I know who it is. Idris was perfect for this role which is why I think he would be awesome at a hero role, but playing and bad guy seem to work for him.
Eliana Sua that play Hobbs daughter was really amazing with her role as a child actress, you can tell she has a big career coming in Hollywood as her performance playing a smart young sarcastic girl was actually funny. With a Few Cameos thrown in, I won't say who but they were a surprise, and had a few funny moments.
What you have to expect is this is a Buddy cop style film nothing more, with great action scene, Hilarious banter, good car, and bike chase, with great performance from all the cast, its basically a Leave your brain at home, relax and just enjoy the entertainment of this film, because despite the story being a little weak, the action and acting is what keeps this film going with entertainment all the way through the film.
If you just looking for Hobbs and shaw punching, beating up bad guys with Hilarious Banter than you enjoy this film, but if you look for a great story you may be a little disappointed with it, but it worth the view.
Dislikes: It's a Good film, my only problem with the film which is the biggest pet peeve in action scene is the shaky camera effects to add dramatic style, I hate it because it can't see what going on, you can see the action.
Overall: Great action, funny banter, Great performances. Great chemistry
