Likes: Any Review calling this film a Toxic masculine film they are Attention seeking and have never watched this film. This is however not a film for every as its a very slow story-driven film, that may be to slow for some people.

Ad Astra is a beautifully crafted film visual stunning showing the universe with the planets in our solar system with someone the best cinematography in a film just like Nolan's Interstellar, the story of one man chooses to stop a secret program that is not threatening the Galaxy Earth is in.

The film is more than just a simple journey to shut down the experiment, it a journey of human understanding and discovery as were sent out on a journey to the outer reaches of space into the abyss of darkness among the stars, it becomes a question of are we really better off alone or do we need and long for some connection in life.
This obsession we humans seem to have in finding the truth or searching for something that seems to be out of reach, and how far are you willing to go in the search give up everything to search of it, missing what more important that's in front of you.

This is how this film comes across with a very powerful message, that if you can sit through the whole film without falling asleep, you see just how beautiful this film is, which shows no every film has to be a superhero or action pack. Its film like this that are a breath of fresh air to just sit down relax and watch the story unfold.

It's a film really for critics and cinema art audience just like interstellar give a visual stunning cinematography film, with a story of wonder and discovery, Brad Pitt and Tommy Lee Jones performance really adds to the films spectacular journey.

Dislikes: There is one flaw considering his ages and technology 1 million light-years we how he got it is a little bit flawed, but being a sci-fi film it can get away with it if it not trying to be scientifically correct.

Overall: Beautiful Visuals, Slow burn story-driven film, great acting.

Rating: 4.3 out of 5 for Entertainment / 8.9 out of 10 for the concept.
