Story: Follows a group of UAC Marines as they respond to a distress call from a top-secret scientific base on Phobos, a Martian moon, only to discover it's been overrun by demons who threaten to create Hell on Earth.

Likes: I'l be honest there is a hell of a lot wrong with this film, so there isnt much about this film I can say that is good, the script does try some what to keep with the lure, the demon design looks pretty cool. The base design gives the impression of a UAC base with some good visual VFX, but not a lot due to budget, with the look of hell which is pretty good as well, but this as far as the film is good.

Dislikes: To be honest for a universal film this is an embarrassment, which is why I dont Blame ID the creator the doom franchise keep a fair distance and having nothing to do with it because it is utterly bad looking more like a seriously low budget tv series than a film.

The biggest issue with this film is the scriptwriting and the budget, not that giving the film a female lead was anything to do with the film being bad although, i'l get the fenimst and Sjw saying your just a woman-hater crap the usual bullshit, but no this film is just utterly bad.

The acting at time feels amateurish and forced like a bad Syfy channel movie, Dooms story is meant to be based on the surface of Mars, yet this film is based on a moon orbit mars which was not a great location the story in the first place, should have kept it on mars.

The film hardly has any demon action scene and feel more like a generic zombie than a doom film, with the biggest issue with this film is the environment it's not portraying a frightening dark atmospheric base. This is the problem this film has doom story should have dark semi-light corridors giving the audience a more frighting tone, which this film sadly lacks in, the corridor is way to lite and was too bright taking away the frighting scary moment this film should have had.

Not the mention for an R-rated film you would think base that size would have more than 20 employs working there, not to mention engineers, the base should have been overrun and blood should have been on the walls with a demonic infection Covering places, like the base, was Form a demonic world.

Not to mention this film wasted the most badass opportunity in the film at the end with the demon world, which could have end with a Badass fight against the demon hordes but this film completely wastes this moment for a lame attempt at ending a film.

Not to mention the lazy ass portal design was so cheaply done, it was unreal, this film seriously lacks in imagination, even I could have come up with a Better more badass Doom film than this, it was to compare the two doom films sadly the Dwayne the rock johnson film was miles better compare to this, as this film feels more like a Syfy channel movie that cheapy done that slap the fans of the doom franchise in the face.

So im gonna end on this note just give us a High budget Doom guy doom film that fans truly want and make it epic with Hollywood style and not a cheaply made style like this because this film is an utter embarrassment to be called Doom. Not a film I would recommend watching.

Overall: Utter embarrassment, cheaply done, not the doom film fans will like, just not worth watching

Rating: 3 out of 5 entertainment /  3 out of 10 for doom adaption. Utterly bad.
