Parents advised reading before viewing the film as some scenes may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity:
  • Three sex scenes (2x mild, 1x Moderate and Graphic) but no full nudity throughout. Women shown wearing bikinis, underwear and much cleavage are shown throughout. Multiple kissing scenes. Prostitutes enter a room and have sex with rich businessmen. The man showed topless in multiple scenes.

  • Although there is no front nudity, there is a scene where a fat businessman is having anal sex with a young sex trafficked victim and is graphic (you see him thrusting and hear him grunting, whilst the victim is moaning). It is interrupted by someone coming into the room. As the victim looks up, the person who interrupted them says to the victim "It could have been worse, he could have come inside you".

  • A man mentions masturbation twice during an obscene sexual conversation with another man and uses further sexual terms and obscenities within the same dialogue.

  • All women in this movie are half the age of the men. They are all sexualized and objectified.

  • Women in thongs and bras. Camera angle pans up and down on many women. Several graphic sex scenes. One involving many young sex trafficked victims - all young women, and 3 old men.

Violence & Gore:
  • Severe graphic violence throughout. Frequent headshots, blood splatter scenes, grenade explosions, limbs dismembered, eyes taken out of sockets, grenade in man's mouth resulting in extremely graphic head explosion, people being run over in cars, limbs snapping, gunshots to eyes, head, mouth, throat, chest, backs, legs, arms and kneecaps. Knife wounds in hands, head, and chest. Gore factor extreme and severe.
  • A woman is being operated on whilst in a high-speed car chase to remove a bullet in her body. Whilst this happens, the person who is operating on the woman hits an artery and blood is shot out like a fountain covering the face of the person doing the operation. In the same scene, someone's eyeball is thrown into a car and rolls around whilst someone else picks it up to examine.
  • A man tries to pop a zit on his face in a mirror when someone comes into the room and shoots him in the back of the head, causing both the zit and his face to explode.
  • A couple of scenes where men have their teeth knocked out of their mouth (both scenes are very graphic). One by a gunshot to the mouth, the other by a grenade which skims the man's mouth before it blows up their car.
  • Members of the public are shown to be hit by speeding cars during a high-speed pursuit in a city. A few scenes show persons being hit at full speed and they are thrown into the air. A mother carrying a baby has a very near miss in this chase. In other scenes, four men are thrown from a tall skyscraper roof and are shown to splatter as they hit the ground at forces.
  • Multiple persons are impaled through the chest and head by large objects whilst driving in high-speed chases. These objects fly through the car windscreens at force. Some of these incidents are quite graphic.

Profanity:  105 uses of "f**k" (7 paired with "mother"), 1 use of "cunt", 48 uses of "shit", 11 uses of "ass" (8 used as "asshole"), 2 uses of "bitch", 2 uses of "prick",1 use of "dick", and 1 use of "piss".
The following blasphemy is recorded throughout: God's name taken in vain 11x, Jesus' name misused 2x.
3 obscene hand gestures

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Drinking is shown but nothing major to report. No drug references.

Frightening/Intense Scenes:  Body dismemberment and graphic scenes of eyes being ripped out of someone's head. Gunshots to throat and face. Members of the public being run down in cars and killed. Chase scenes. A young motherless child sees her father being shot dead.
War scenes in poverty-stricken places. Scenes of children being hanged. A man is shown committing suicide by jumping off a boat.
A man is hiding in a swimming pool whilst his pursuers are standing over it looking for him. He holds his breath for more than three minutes underwater and cannot surface, the direction of this scene suggests that he could drown if the pursuers don't leave the area. The scene causes the intensity to arise.

Story: What's the best part of being dead? It isn't escaping your boss, your ex, or even erasing your criminal record. The best part about being dead...is freedom. The freedom to fight the injustice and evil that lurk in our world without anyone or anything to slow you down or tell you "no." 6 Underground introduces a new kind of action hero. Six individuals from all around the globe, each the very best at what they do, have been chosen not only for their skill but for a unique desire to delete their pasts to change the future. The team is brought together by an enigmatic leader (Ryan Reynolds), whose sole mission in life is to ensure that, while he and his fellow operatives will never be remembered, their actions damn sure will.

Likes: Your probley thinking oh god not another Micheal Bay movie, yep it a Micheal bay movie but it entertaining like hell and the story surprisingly work here going all out on the brutal reality of life when a country is run by a dictator.

Yes, this film has Micheal bay all over with explosion, mayhem gun, bullets body just flying everywhere it nuts. The story side is a pretty simple one to follow, you have a team of people run by Ryan Reynold character just called one as he has no name as he's basically a ghost and dead to the world, same goes with the others he picks, he basically a tech multi-billionaire that got bored with life become an anti-hero in the shadows going after the bad guys.

So basically what your looking at is a cross between mission impossible and A-team role into one, with a team with a variety of background that just the basic of the story really. The stunt work in this film is mental, with some good action gunfights and car chases through the streets with some cool and funny slow-mo moments.

You can tell that Ryan been given free rein to be himself because he brings alot of the comic relief in this film, some of it is funny, Mélanie Laurent and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo have great on-screen chemistry together as two sadistic assassins that are in love with each other bring a dynamic to the film. Ben Hardy brings a parkour element to the film given some amazing stunt scenes. Corey Hawkins brings ex-military who snipe class to the team, who had some bad things happen during a mission that sent him over the rails.

This is basically a film one of those films, kick off your shoe get a beer and bottle wine and just enjoy it for what this film is, a high octane action thriller that will entertain you from start to finish that could easily give a sequel if you wanted it

Dislikes: There is some blatant explosion that goes off a little early but that all I can really see wrong, this may not be everyone cup of tea film, but it worth checking out on Netflix

Overall: High-octane action, Good mix story style, funny moments.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 8.7 out of 10 High-octane action flix
