Like: I honest after watching this film and seeing all the reviews i honest dont think some people get what this films is because they're saying there is no ending, see this is the whole point of actually paying attention to a film details. The film isnt a character drive film its more of a plot driven film where the title of the film explains what the film is, especial with the ending, its a perfect ending for what the Films title is explain what is happening in the film.
Theo James and Forest Whitaker give great performance throughout this film, giving character trying to survive and get to a woman they both care about. The film shows just how bad it can truly get when the world is falling apart, if people think the world will help each other hide behind this rosy tint glass your mistaken, people will become their true primal selfs where most everyone will be out for themselves it will become a savage world where people will do anything to survive.
This is what this film absolute shows, as thing seem normal at first then things start to happen to until the film final reveal a Apocalyptic disaster globally with cities in ruin, burning forest and ash falling from the sky which gives the audience a sense of what is happening.
In a way the film is a metaphor of it own title, so is it worth watching yes if it your type of film that you dont need all the question answered you might enjoy the film.
Dislikes: In some way i do think this film could do with some sequel to see how everything plays out, but i think the title of the film explains it perfect that the world has come to end.
Overall: Good acting, story that pretty much explain itself, good ending
Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 8.7 out of 10 for concept
