Likes: WOW ive never watch a film that made me Emotional Stressed like this film made me, I see alot of review down playing this film has bad, but it's only because they've lost what it means to struggle for life to protect your familys.
Giving just 24 hours before the world is about to come to end from a planet killer Asteroid, their is no length you would go to get your family to safety, Like so many other Disaster movies that give their flashy Hollywood set up, here is the complete opposite.
Director Ric Roman Waugh has given the most realistic disaster movie of 2020, give an emotional stressing ride with the world falling apart, everyone is out for themself with a Family just trying to get to safe haven in greenland really puts you in the shoes of Gerard butler's character John Garrity and his family just trying to survive.
The thing about this film is it doesn't just show the expect of one country, it show a worldwide impact as Fragments hit across the world causing mass destruction, and completely wiping out cities is the most frightening real aspect of what could happen for real.
"Greenland" is more like a family drama laced with some end-of-the-world disaster theme that delivers with impact, hitting your heart in the right places and making you so stressed watching event unfold that this could happen to are our world which makes it more frightening.
With great acting and special effects, one hell of a shock film that will test every emotion you have, you will be in tears by the end if you're emotional acceptable to traumatic events.
If you come into this film just accepting the whole film to just be about the end of the world you be disappoint because this is a gripping story about survival and the frightening aspect of thing that we all take for granted will be gone.
As disaster movies goes this tops the number one disaster movie with a realistic feel of tension and frightening visual that show states and countries have been wipe out in less that 24 hours.
This is a must watch, it's now on VOD with amazon prime.
Dislikes: There are a few shake cam moments but not enough to ruin the film flow.
Overall: Emotional stressing, frightening and Realistically scary as our earth is un protected from these things
Rating: 5 out for 5 for Entertainment / 10 out for 10 for disaster movie with bit
