Story: Hopeless romantic but eternally single LA journalist Natalie (Nina Dobrev) thinks things are beginning to look up when she swipes right on a dreamy guy from the East Coast, Tag (Darren Barnet). Taking a leap of faith she jumps on a flight to surprise her crush for the holidays, only to discover that she's been catfished by Tag's childhood friend who is equally unlucky in love, Josh (Jimmy O. Yang). This lighthearted romantic comedy chronicles her attempt to reel in love.

Likes: When it comes to Rom-coms, a lot of them have been very unrealistic, Especial when they show boy meets girl in the most unrealistic way that doesn't really reflect Real life, while yes these are just Rom-com films, but when it comes to this heartwarming Rom-com Love hard its actually does reflect life while actually being cute and entertaining.

The incredibly beautiful and talented Nina Dobrev (from Vampire diaries/ XXX Return of Xander Cage) Her character in love hard show how very difficult it is with Dating in today's social circles, with a lot of Catfishing and People not being what their profile pictures show, it really shows a good message that people should just be themself & not hide behind a someone else picture, be yourself. Nina's performance in this film gives a perfect example of this throughout the film.

Especial from her co-star Jimmy O. Yang, while yes the film shows he did something wrong which is shown in the trailer, his character does show some defining Quality in his character, playing a guy that down in his luck in finding love, his other brother is a jerk, I can see a lot of myself in this character, so I can relate to most of what this character goes through. Jimmy's performance really sells this point across which makes his character not just make you feel for him but for a lot of guys it's relatable.

While the film does give a lot of moments of laughter and entertainment due to a great cast of actors/actresses, the film does also have a Message that sometimes its something you think you want which show in Nina character who looking at Tag for love played brilliantly by Darren Barnet, you're actually missing something that is right in front of you, that can give you what you want, this film 100% give this message the right way, that some people do waste their time looking for something that wrongs for them, while missing out on what's in front of you.

Some might actually say this film is cheesy, I would disagree because this film just has that right amount of comedy, romantic moments, and heartwarming moments to say Love hard is a Great Christmas movie to watch on Netflix, especial the Sing part with Baby it cold outside, will melt your heart.

Dislikes: My only thought on this film is that it might not be a film for everyone, but it is a very good film.

Overall: Great acting, heartwarming Rom-com that reflects the dating game and life perfect.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 8.7 out of 10 for Rom-com.
