Running time: 2h 36m

Parents advised reading before viewing the film as some scenes may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: Two characters passionately kiss on a beach with bare shoulders and a couple of brief thrusts seen if you pay attention. The scene doesn't last longer than 5 seconds. Viewers in IMAX will see half breasts and buttocks

Passionate kisses between couples.

A kiss is shared between two men who are in a relationship.

Violence & Gore: All violence includes stylized in detail stabbings.

Once a character kills a creature in one instance, gore splatter is seen all over a character's face in close-up.

Creature body parts are cut off by several weapons.

Characters are injured but usually healed (or can heal themselves).

The Eternals use their superpowers and superweapons to defeat scary, aggressive monsters known as Deviants

A woman is impaled from behind. not gory, but disconcerting

A man is eaten by a creature. kind of a jump scare

Epic wars and battles are shown throughout parts of history. Nothing overly violent, but many people die off-screen.

A man sacrifices himself by getting eaten by a Deviant.

Violence is on par with other MCU movies

Profanity: 5 uses of "shit" and use of the middle finger

All the language is mild and infrequent.

Other uses ass, hell, damn, bitch, and crap.

"Oh god" is used.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: An early scene takes place at a club/bar. Alcoholic drinks are shown being consumed

Frightening/Intense Scenes: The movie is emotionally heavy, and at times dark. Probably the most mature Marvel movie. Many kids may find the themes hard to understand, and the dialogue-heavy scenes and pacing too slow

There are scenes, some sustained, in which monsters menace humans and attack immortals. Some sequences depict monsters using long tentacles to cling on to certain characters, piercing them in the back and the neck, draining them of their powers. Other scenes of threat include earthquakes and erupting volcanoes.

There's a jump-scare scene.

Two characters survey the ruins of the bombing of Hiroshima. This is a very emotionally heavy scene

Story: Following the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), an unexpected tragedy forces the Eternals, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years, out of the shadows to reunite against mankind's most ancient enemy, the Deviants.

LikesRight first of all I'm aware of certain marvel fans that are die-hard and want to protect their fandom, but at the End of the day this review isn't about their feeling, it's about the film in general, yes there are a lot of Marvel films that aren't great as there is a lot of DC film that isn't great, as there are good both dc/marvel film's but at the end the day it's still just a Film.

Objectively while this film is visually great the acting is great it does try to take the Marvel universe in a different direction but it lacks the heart and soul to be good, special with its standard values and its pacing. While the film is based on a Story-driven film with a lot of dialogue, it doesn't quite live up to the standard of a lot of Drama based story films.

while I respect Chloé Zhao trying to bring compelling characters to the screen, the actress and actor do their role well to a certain point, the film as a whole does lack the Compelling character concept, it, not the actors/actress fault, it is the problem with too many cook in the kitchen with the Writing. With serval issues with the film, it sadly isn't a great film, in fact, it is the weakest film in the MCU.

Dislikes: Here the underline issue with this film, the pacing is one because the film is mainly Dialogue and less action, the film suffers from an Exposition problem, with exposition after exposition it makes the pacing of the film way too slow, with a run time of 2hr and 37mins the film feel like a 4hr movie, this is the issue with the film because the younger Audience will have a hard time watching this film.

Its attempt at humor in certain parts really didn't hit the mark, in fact, it was none existent in this film, which made the jokes bland, along with scenes that really didn't need to be in the film, other than to just move the film along.  It just wasn't executed right as most other films have done.

The deep philosophical themes just weren't as executed right as Shang chi was, which made the film even worst, that coupe with the pacing that was way too slow, this truly was a very boring and bland film, that I was falling asleep through because of its execution of slow Exposition making it the weakest film in the MCU.

Would I recommend going out to watch it, no, you better off watching this at home, than on the big screen.

Overall: Good Performance, but the story lacks emotional content and heart to be good, it is the weakest film in the MCU.

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 For Entertainment / 5 out 10 for the slow-paced film.
