Parents advised reading before viewing the film as some scenes may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: A woman is seen changing clothes, with just her underwear visible, as a man watches through a window (mid-distance, darkly lit). Window view.

A woman's nipples are briefly seen under her shirt.

The girls at the Penguin's clubwear revealing clothes

In a nightclub, a stripper performs on a pole out of focus in the background (no nudity).

Characters kiss, no nudity

Bruce Wayne is seen without a shirt in several scenes.

A few moderate references. Some are more detailed than others.

Violence & Gore: Several brutal action sequences include shootings, fistfights, electrocutions, and sequences in which people are repeatedly punched or bludgeoned.

Mutilated bodies are found at crime scenes, and there are repeated views of a severed thumb.

Man is killed with a metal tool (out of view).

A woman is choked with a pool cue

Audio of a woman screaming as she is strangled to death is replayed more than once

A man with a baseball bat comes in at Batman and Batman blocks all of his punches and proceeds to throw several brutal punches back at his face until he falls on the ground, then he gives him two extra hits to the body or face (unclear, offscreen) but we hear bones broken.

A man's finger is cut off and attached to a USB

Batman shoots a grappling hook through an attacker's leg and then hangs him from it.

Very dark movie

Profanity: One use of the F word, five uses of the S-word, three uses each of "son of a bitch" and "goddamn," "prick," "bastard," "dickbag." Numerous G.D. and J.C. uses

A man is called a "scumsucker."

10 uses of "Jesus" as profanity, three uses of "holy shit",

A woman refers to people who happen to be white and privileged as "white privileged assholes."

46 obscenities (including 2 f-words), 21 profanities using Jesus' name in vain, over a dozen profanities using God's name in vain with 'd***'.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Addicts are called "dropheads". Much of the movie revolves around a drug ring.

Several scenes where characters drink.

A man under the influence of alcohol or drugs is overly talkative.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: Scenes include people in states of terror and distress after being placed in elaborate death traps. The tone is frequently dark and menacing and includes scenes of gun threats and acts of terrorism.

The Riddler is a very frightening and creepy serial killer. His costume resembles that of The Zodiac Killer. His presence is very menacing and disturbing.

Every scene related to Riddler is very tense.

The whole film is extremely dark and film noir-esque tone-wise. It is by far the darkest Batman film ever made.

Batman is very brutal in this movie.

Story: When the Riddler, a sadistic serial killer, begins murdering key political figures in Gotham, Batman is forced to investigate the city's hidden corruption and question his family's involvement.

Likes: The Batman, is it any good?  Yes, it's good but it does have elements I personally didn't like that just my opinion. This is a very interesting take on batman movies, with a solid cast and performance we're great, Especial with this Dark, gritty ground storyline that brings a second-year batman in his detective side with an Amazing performance from Robert Pattinson, giving a more realistic tone batman coming to term with knowing the truth about his past and deal with a psychopath Riddler played Awesomely by Paul Dano give the film more of a seven and zodiac style character of the riddler really adds to this film dark atmosphere.

Especial the beginning of this film was well done in giving the nature of shadows which make the criminal fear the signal, I loved that narrative, Especial when the film shows that Batman doesn't really get the fear, the character devolvement that Pattinson bring gives a more ground batman, that not giving hope to people, make the criminals not fear him, this is something i love about this since he's only in year 2 batman stage.

Even the Entire city was a character in a way this is something I love about Matt Reeve directing, while yes there is some issue with gender politics which is why I'm not giving this film a 10 out of 10, but luckily it is not enough to ruin this film as Pattison and Paul Dano performance make this film for what it is.

One thing I have to mention is Colin Farrell you wouldn't even recognize him unless someone told you it's him playing the Ozwold AKA penguin in this film, his performance with his voice work is amazing I think were see a lot more of him in the future Batman films. Even Jeffrey Wright playing Lt James Gordan which yes the character is supposed to be white, but I dint dislike it because Jeffrey Wright actually played the role pretty well which is always good in these types of films, and again with Catwoman played by Zoë Kravitz who didn't pretty well despite the comment she made during the film which s why this film for me lost points.

So is this worth see Absolute worth it.

Dislikes: (Just a note )These are reasons why I have not given this film a 10 out of 10.

1. The character of Catwoman made a DUMB!!! comment toward people that happen to be white as white privileged, which is an activist word that loves to be thrown about like confetti, this shouldn't have been allowed to be said in films, and this type of Woke or any type of woke should be banned from DC films, comics, and the movie industry altogether as its nothing but toxic behavior.

2. Catwoman and batman - Robert Pattison and Zoe Kraviz while their performances were great, I did feel that their onscreen Chemistry was there, it was a little off, which is why I feel Catwoman is miscast. The Cat woman suit while the sit was great, the mask was terrible, and look cheap like a cotton wool hat with a cutout eye that completely showed her whole face, the point of a mask is to hide who you are.

3. In some places during the film it did feel like it was dragging a little, but then pick up than drag again, I do feel that the film could've had a bit more action. There was one moment toward the end where someone had got shot, but for some reason walking normally, was a little unrealistic in my opinion.

Overall: Dark gritty, ground story, some element that could have been left out but a great movie nonetheless

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 8 out of 10 for fresh interest batman film.
