Story: Biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead.

Likes: Morbius is it any good? sadly no, I'm pretty sure I will get every marvel fanboy to say you can't say that it was a good film, yet to that, I would apply what film did you watch because Morbius suffers from lack of imagination and bad editing.

That said Jered Leto has finally found his calling for the Vampire Morbius as this character actually did suit him quite well, unlike his joker portrayal in the suicide squad movie, with this character his performance was allowed to mold into it giving a better character portrayal for the vampire, it's just a shame that the story was all over the places because Jared nails this role.

It was the same with Matt Smith's character, as he brought a charismatic provado side, which if the film explored more would have made a Great confrontation, but the story lacks his character development which like I said could have been much better explored giving him a better build-up in the film.

While some action scenes were great and the performance were great, the film it self just lets this all down with bad editing and lack of storytelling.

Dislikes: Going into this film not actually knowing the character too well, the film does a great job at showing you, but the film editing and the lack of imagination and Character development True lets this film down.

Where this film goes wrong is the lack of build-up, where the film feels painted by numbers movie, which came across as rushed and way too short of the lead up to a Climax, that the film comes across like there bit that have been taken out to lower the rating of the film which make the film look bad.

what I mean by this is the scene by scenes don't blend with each other, it comes across as a very messy edited movie, which I'm pretty sure the general audience will pick up on. General when this happens the audience tend to stray away from watching this films, especial when they just want to watch a good film.

It is a shame since Jared casting for Morbius really does suit him, Matt smith was brilliant with his role, but like I said these performances were let down by the film itself, even the score music is from BVS, which is strange since they should've had there own music score.

After watching this film I feel this could've been a great horror-style r-rated film, with more flesh-out characters and scenes this film actually could've been better, instead we got a half-ass lazy edited film that was just a mess with scenes that just didn't blend together. Because of this, I feel this is gonna be a flop for Marvel/sony.

Overall: Great performance, story is just a mess with bad editing.

Rating: 4.3 out of 5 for Entertainment / 5.8 out of 10 for adaption
