Sex & NudityA couple is seen having sex. No nudity but brief kissing and stripping are shown.

Violence & Gore: you can see slight damage to the leg and scare.

Profanity: Two uses of God-d***, a few uses of a**, and a few uses of f***.

The main character mentions being a former drug addict a few times but it never shows him using

Frightening/Intense Scenes: There are scenes that may scare some people that have been in life-threatening moments

Story: Cassie Salazar and Luke Morrow couldn't be more different. Sharp-witted Cassie works nights at a bar in Oceanside, CA to make ends meet while pursuing her dream of becoming a singer/songwriter. Luke is a Marine trainee, about to ship out for duty, who finds comfort in the unswerving discipline of service. But a chance encounter at Cassie's bar changes the course of both their lives. Cassie is drowning in medical bills after being diagnosed with diabetes.

Likes:  Purple hearts is it any good? Well based on the book purple heart tells a beautiful love story between two unlike people that start off not liking each other, one is a singer the other is a military that didn't start off as great friends until they both came into financial problems.

I actually found this film very emotional toward the end, yes it is predictable in places, but it is the way this film develops the characters in a way that shows true love conquers all, both characters found a solution to the problem, and they get married out of convience. (which seriously don't do, you will get in serious trouble).

The music in the films is performed for real by the Beautiful Sofia Carson a real singer, who plays Cassie a struggling performer with a health issue without medical care she can die, and her character struggles to make the money to pay for the meds she needs, which the marry of convenience comes in to play with the guy she disliked Luke played by Nicholas Galitzine. who is a marine that is being listed in a few days.

Yes, there are some arguments along the way, they found it hard to keep a secret thing got in the way until a injury pulled him out of service. This is where the film takes an unlike turn as a shame marriage turns into a real marry, it where the film really pulls at the heartstrings in a beautiful unlikely moment brought two people together even then they didn't realize it.

Would I recommend this Yes, it's the kind of story that is not forced, it is a natural progression of true love from two people that started off hating each other.

Dislikes: There are some flaws, but not enough to say it is a bad film.

Overall: Heartfelt journey of unlikely love from hate

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment /  8.7 out of 10 for the story.
