They go and when they arrive a man named Rom who works for Leopold attacks the village they are at and captures Tarzan and Jane. With Washington's help he escapes and sets out to rescue Jane by going across the jungle and Washington joins him despite being told that he might not make it.
Likes : I went in to this film with an open mind not knowing what to expect i was surprise on just how brilliant the acting & cast choices for this film really worlds for the film , ya was a flaw in the story which i will explain in the dislike, but this film is actually good.
Director David Yates has done a pretty good job with this film with casting Alexander Skarsgård as Tarzan, he absolutely done an amazing performance as the ghost of the jungle i dont think there is a better person that could of played this role. With the on screen chemistry with Margot Robbie as Jane Porter who put in one of the best performance of her career was brilliant on screen really sold the on screen love & relationship with John Clayton (Tarzan) that made the film more believable that there is no lengths you would go to save someone you love.
Christoph Waltz once again puts in a Stella performance as the villain of the film Leon Rom with a ruthless streak of someone who will throw you under the bus to get what they want , really sold the character the character well on screen. Samuel L. Jackson was brilliant in this film i was half expecting A few F bomb & shouting & swearing from the guy but he surprised me in this film showing of just how good of an actor his truly is take this role seriously as well trying to stop corrupt which gets him involved with Tarzan it become an epic adventure as he try's to keep up.
Djimon Hounsou perfect casting for Chief Mbonga chief war lord of his tribe who had a reason for hunting Tarzan , even tho his role is a slight cameo for the film, his character is apart of the story is someways , he pulls off a strong figure of a warrior in the film which sells the character perfect, this is what Djimon is good at doing it why he was the perfect choice of casting for this role.
With the rest of the casting in this film true bring this film to life , i will say one of the best Tarzan film ive seen so far , with it C.G.I with the gorillas & other animals which was incredibly done might i say gave thee film certain intense & animal spirit tone between man & beast which really set the tone for the concept. There were a few moment through the film where it is funny because there are a few scene that you will laugh at, which was good because it was force in it flowed natural which is good for a film , also one scene that was just had that WTF moment when you see what some guy is walking which just boggles the mind.
The C.G.I of the Congo as well really set the tone of the movie i the ere of film is set in , i know a lot the film reviews you gonna see will be mediocre on down the film, but i assure you this is one film not to be missed , Tarzan is brilliant told story in the way it should of been done, the flash backs give's the audience a feel of the past.
Dislikes : Although this film is good , one thing that could of been better is the begin if the film from the first act , they should have start from the time he was young first growing up with the gorilla's instead of through most flash backs because it did kind of kill the emotion in the film to get attach to certain characters this is where the film could of been better but the 2nd & 3rd acts of the film are brillaint.
Overall : Great C.G.I , Perfect performances for all cast & actor/actress, great story.
Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 8.2 out of 10 concept.
