Running time: 2h 17min

Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: There is a brief glimpse of female upper-body frontal nudity when a woman pulls down her gown partially to flash her breasts at a male character.

Violence & Gore: Realistic depictions of violence and gore (with strong impact) are shown, but they are justified by context. Additionally, the portrayals shown are not excessive, gratuitous or exploitative.

There are several prolonged fight sequences throughout the film where blood spurting and impalements are depicted.

The mutants' retractable claws are used to slash and kill their enemies.

While the actions are fast and some are implied, there are some details of bloody injury, including showing bodies being slashed, as well as depictions of claws piercing through heads and other body parts.

Some of the stronger scenes include a scene where a man is seen being decapitated, and another where a character is impaled by a mutant.

There is also a scene depicting a character's face being partially blown off by a gunshot, where the bloody aftermath is shown.

Profanity: Coarse language is voiced in the film, but it is not excessive.

There are multiple uses of the expletive "f**k" throughout the film, and some utterances of the stronger expletive "motherf**ker".

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Logan is seen drinking alcohol throughout the film. He is also seen injecting himself and others with medical drugs.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: 'Logan' is a spin-off from the X-Men film series, which is about a group of mutants, or a subspecies of humans who are born with superhuman abilities. The film revolves around one of the mutants, Wolverine (commonly known as Logan), and his struggle to protect a young mutant when the latter is unexpectedly left in his charge.

Numerous intense scenes throughout, including a home invasion, child abduction, a torture scene and attacks on children and adults.

Official MPAA rating: Rated R for strong brutal violence and language throughout, and for brief nudity

Story: In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

I'l be honest here i was expecting a little more from this film and i'm sure if you audi

ence that have seen this film for yourselves would probley agree in some aspects of this film, where it could of been better done or you may have a difference of opinion maybe.
I'm a little mixed on this wolverine movie as there are parts i liked but i did notice some plot holes with something being explained that didnt make sense with previous films, special regarding wolverine claws which is the biggest flaw in the film which you will notice (I.E) a certain thing that happen in wolverine 2.

As for this film being R-rated "oh Boy" does this film live up to that R-rating and in no way should you allow you kids to watch this film and i kid you not, as most of the action's scene are pretty brutal and blood thirst and i do mean blood thirst.

It was like watching a kill bill version of wolverine which actually worked for the film giving wolverine his true blood thirsty nature, because it's whats been bugging me for ages and why i feel the other film's haven't been that great because of the 12A - PG 13 rating when wolverine is like dead pool a R-rated character.

Im sure fan's of the wolverine comic books would agree or may not agree with me that wolverine isnt a 12A- pg - 13 character as most of the comic book involving wolverine have been of a mature nature, this is why the action in this film although a little short on the action though out the film was good when we got these scene.

One thing that shines more is X-23 played by the young Dafne Keen who done a brilliant job at giving this film a bit more edge, what this film does is gives you this what look like a sweet little girl but dont let that fool you.
Dafne character x-23 is much like wolverine but extremely lethal for a little girl  which you find yourself in ore when she pulls the wolverine breaker attack on the soldiers, she spill's more blood that Logan which really add's this shock value to the film because what you see in the trailer is nothing compared to the film.

For those that have seen this film what did you think of her characters x-23 portrayal on screen? did they nail it or made it better whats your opinion on this?

Huge Jackman once again show us just how brilliant of an actor he is playing the old man Logan which was brilliant in showing that his healing is slower, also throwing a few twists in the film which was great for the character.

There is one thing i wish i could say but it would give away the ending which i feel could of been done better but not sure how the audience would feel about how this ended the way it did.
But what did you think about it, do you think it could've been better done or do you think it was fine the way it ended?

Overall opinion of this film is kind of mixed, there are area that could've been improved, where other areas work fine special with the R-rating and the cast to actually good the acting is pretty solid.

But this film was far from perfect as in just in my opinion it's a pretty average film to be-honest that could've been better in area, with some great stunt fights and brutal carnage moment that just make's your jaw drop. But what did you think of the film was it an average film for you or do you have a different overall opinion?

Dislikes : There was a few dialog that didnt make sense as it contradicts certain event from previous films, which im not sure if anyone picked up on.

Wolverine claws was a big flaw special with the events of wolverine 2, you know the scene which was also seen in one of the x-men films as well.

The film could of had more actions scenes, i felt the film had too many slow moments which is bad for a film because it doesnt engage the audience in the film, i honestly did find most moment a little boring.

Overall : Pretty average film, Great R-rated scenes like watching a kill bill wolverine film, brilliant acting.

Rating: 4.6 out of 5 for Entertainment / 7.8 out of 10 for R-rated version of wolverine.

  1. I guess the continuity errors with the other films are ignoring the fact that the events of the other two Wolverine films were from the old timeline, before the rebooted one shown in Days of Future Past and X-Men Apocalypse.

Ignore anything before those films as it is no longer canon.
