Likes: Ok this film wasn't that bad for a British horror film, kind throw me off toward the end but it was very cleverly done. The premises of the story has a great direction and with the first investigation that the character Phillip Goodman played by (Andy Nyman) reminds me of when I use to do security work, there were a few places that ive done that were very creepy.
But ya that first story will get the audience to jump out of the seats as it set up this creep dark atmosphere that leads up to events unfolding which don't use cheap jump scares, this is natural scare the hell out of you moments which works for this film.
There are some funny moments which kind of break down the dark and gloomy feel of the film, as ive said toward the end of the film it kind of throws you off a little as the film takes a different direction. It gives this concept that not everything you have seen seems to be what you see, like you brain making you see what it wants you to see.
Which kind of blurs the lines between reality and fantasy because this type of concept works both way as what you see you might thing isnt real yet what you are seeing is actually real and happening.
That the clever things about this film, are what your seeing is it real or is it just your brain letting you see what you think your seeing? that what makes this film pretty good on the story concept as throughout the film you wonder if what you seeing is real.
I must say this is actually worth checking out if you into those weird supernatural concept storeys, as the end will explain everything which is kind of a clever way to end a film.
Dislikes: The only complaint with this film really is the fact I don't think this is a big screen movie, this would have been better as a short tv movie, as the film isnt self feels more like a tv film.
If im honest the second story kind of took me out of the film a bit as it was more comical than then anything.
Overall: Dark, general scary, great acting good storeys that will chill you to the bone.
Rating: 4.6 out of 5 for Entertainment / 7.2 out of 10 for the concept
