Story: The year is 1926 and Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident...were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt's fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
Likes : I wasn't much of a fan of the Harry potter film's although some were good & they had their entertainment value , But Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set 67 year before Harry potter event's in 1926.
The period costume design is brilliantly done in portraying the 1920 era in new york city , as well as it visual effect's apart from one slight error if you do notice it but this was a really good entertaining film.
Visual this film is stunning special with some of the creatures which a few scene were actually funny , the C.G.I is perfectly done part from one scene with the statue of liberty there was a slight error there but it was hardly noticeable unless you were looking for errors.
what is also Clever which i'm impressed with is that it can easy be a stand alone film if it choose to be which the director has brilliant done here , so it could branch off several new story's without interfering with the timeline of the first Harry potter film.
The rumor are true that johnny Depp is in this film i can give away detail on this because it would be giving away some major spoilers in the plot of the film , but Eddie Redmayne performance is brilliant ive seen him in several role now some of which he did quite fit the character his was portraying but in this film is brilliant.
I love the fact because it 1920 they gave Eddie's character Newt the buster Keaton walk , everyone that know what i mean by this will recognize this straight way on screen , i thought this was a very clever quirky thing to add to the character as it made him stand out more.
Along with his co stars - Katherine Waterston who play's Porpentina "Tina" Goldstein an American witch and former Auror for the Magical Congress of the United States of America. Originally an Auror , she found herself in some trouble with her superiors and was demoted to the position of Federal Wand Permit Officer.
Katherine performance playing this role is just brilliant , playing this person who just seem to get her self in to trouble by being in the wrong place at wrong time , but has this driven personality to get what she need done which is probable why she get in to trouble.
Playing her sister Queenie Alison Sudol who play's her , i love her character with the way she plays this role is just brilliant acting from this actress.
She comes across having a lot of heart and so down to earth quilty it almost come off really sweet on screen , which is a good thing for this type of character because she a likable character she does stand out.
Then you have Dan Fogler who play's Kowalski a guy that just down on his luck love to bake trying to make a life for himself when he accidentally gets involved with newt, his world that he through was real become this magic world of creature that he never seen before.
Dan is just brilliant at play the goofy guy that just can't believe his eye's at what he seeing , he comes off brilliant on screen with this character giving some of the best comedy moment in the movie.
You have cameos from from a few well known actors Jon Voight , Ellie Haddington ,Todd Boyce few other ,

This was kind of a strange role for Ezra Miller when you first see him on screen as he play's Credence Barebone an American man who lived during the 20th century. He was the adopted son of Mary Lou Barebone (Samantha Morton) , the leader of the New Salem Philanthropic Society, a No-Maj anti-witchcraft group.
In the film he comes across as a "troubled" and "mysterious." Shy and withdrawn character , this made him far more vulnerable to the abuse that came in response to the slightest infraction of his adoptive mother's strict rules.
This is actually what give's this film a dark edge Ezra brilliantly protray's on screen , with a very convince role as abused boy but this film hide who he really is which is what i loved about the direction this film was going in.
Colin Farrell brilliant as always play the antagonist which you can clearly see from the moment you see him as he protray's a some what dark figure in the magic enforcers , He's presence throughout the film you could see he was up to something but the story doesn't give away to much which is what i liked.
This show's that Director David Yates who director several other harry potter film know what he doing with certain character this come off very well on screen.
This was just outstanding C.G.I animation on a character played by Ron Perlman Gnarlack , the facial expression , the movement & manor of the way Ron speak's it like they've the motion capture for this character like they did with king Kong.
Because just looking at this character even with the voice you can see this looked like Ron that was brilliant , If your a Harry potter fan this is one film you will enjoy watching , as it has all the elements of the harry potter universe in a stand alone film.
Dislikes : There was a slight error with a certain scene with the state of liberty which i did notice if you were looking for it, the pacing can be a little slow at times, the villain of the film was a little weak.
Overall :Great film to watch, perfect stand alone film , brilliant performances & amazing special effects.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Entertainment / 8.1 out of 10 for Concept.
fantastic beasts megashare9 and Where to Find Them on megashare9 is a spin-off of the highly successful Harry Potter-franchise. Naturally, there were great expectations for this first part of a whole new franchise in the J.K. Rowling's wizarding world and I can honestly say that it delivers everything you would dreamed of.
ReplyDeleteFrom minute one the movie gets you on a journey with great visuals, very recognizable music and great performances from Eddie Redmayne and Dan Fogler. From now and then you get the, sometimes funny, sometimes smart references to Harry Potter, but nevertheless is this a movie that can totally stand on it's own.
