Frightening/Intense Scenes:

Based on true events, "Sully" is a drama about an airline pilot, Captain Chesley Sullenberger, who safely landed U.S. Airways flight 1549 on the frozen Hudson River in 2009. The film follows the investigations that took place in the wake of the incident.

Story: On Thursday, January 15th, 2009, the world witnessed the "Miracle on the Hudson" when Captain Chesley Sullenberger, nicknamed "Sully" & is portrayed by Tom Hanks glided his disabled plane onto the frigid waters of the Hudson River, saving the lives of all 155 aboard. However, even as Sully was being heralded by the public and the media for his unprecedented feat of aviation skill, an investigation was unfolding that threatened to destroy his reputation and his career.

Likes : On January 15th 2009 a miracle happened that could of cost the lives of not only the passengers on flight 1549 but could of cost the lives of so many in the city , but thank's to a pilot who is a hero in my book made the right decision to put the plane in the Hudson river.

Clint Eastwood has had a long career in the film industry which has given him the skill to direct movies , what's brilliant is what he's done with this story he told it in the right way. Clint has take a story that doesn't really have much content to it & made it in to a fantastic storytelling of a true event.

Captain Chesley Sullenberger Wrote a book soon after this event happen for him this must of been one of the most frightening situation has this has never happened before , this is the danger of airports close to city's or dock area is the birds.
Sadly just after take off bird hit both engines causing a complete engines failure which forced the plane to lost altitude, several attempt's were made to restart the engines but with no success ,  this was the result of Sully having to make a quick decision which saved the lives of 155 people on board.

FDA tried their best to throw the book at sully with computer simulation of the very events , but evidence show that what sully did was the right choice to make which resulted in him being a hero.
Sully is a film based on this event showing the court case from FDA & federal commission as well as some pretty frightening scene of the event.

Tom Hank brilliant actor did this role justice i think the real Captain Chesley Sullenberger would be proud of him playing this role as he performance is amazing on screen portray this character ,  Aaron Eckhart his co star playing the other pilot Jeff Skiles that was with sully.

This film show that the guy stood up with sully in the court room as they try to throw the book at him , it's what i love about this film as it add the drama & emotional scene telling a great story of what could of been another disaster in america history.

Flying air planes is still the safest way to travel , it just sometime thing go wrong there is not you can do by home the pilot can think calmly in a situation like this.

Dislikes : The plane in some parts look a little fake with the CGI which i think is a editing error but the film as a whole is good.

Overall : Great story telling, brilliant performances from Tom hankAaron Eckhart

Rating:
out of 5 for Entertainment / 8 out of 10 for true event story telling
