Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: None.

Violence & Gore: Moderate portrayals of violence are featured, but depicted without details and justified by context.

The film contains a few scenes of violence which are either largely implied, or depicted with no detail of injury or bloodletting.

In one of the stronger scenes, the protagonist and antagonist, who are both in robotic suits, deliver blows and punches at each other as they fight. The scene also contains a brief shot of a man who is implied to be punched in the stomach, subsequently falling dead. However, the actual infliction of the injury is not clearly seen.

Other scenes of violence include scenes of men shooting at their target without any depiction of injuries.

The film also contains a mildly intense scene where the protagonist gets caught in a powerful hurricane. He is seen being dragged around and there is a brief shot of a wound on his leg as he pulls out an object that was lodged into his leg. However, there is little depiction of the injury or the character's suffering.

Profanity: None

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: None

Likes : Don't get confused in thinking this is a remake of SHAQ DC film steel in 1997, this is something that completely different based of a C.G.I series in 2000 called max steel about a boy with special powers.

The only thing about this film which is a shame it just poorly executed on screen i can see why this film flopped in the cinema , but i'll get into that with the dislikes. For the fans of max steel this may be appealing film for them , although it main target is the younger audience this film does lack the strength to actually make it inspiring.

The only thing really is that this is good for kids to keep them entertain but for adult there is so many things wrong with this , Visually the film is great , the design on the suit is awesome , the C.G.I on steel is great some of the acting is good , but sadly this is where this film lack any intelligent flow in the concept.
Dislikes : The main problem with this film is the character's special max played by Ben Winchell , the problem with this character is they've written him in too safe it comes off bad on screen as were given him understanding his powers training with them.

Yet through the whole film he comes off very weak & a bit of a coward , this is seriously poor character scripting which is ashame , special when you you have such an awesome design on the suit of armour Ben Winchell character max should've been written a bit more badass.

I mean the confrontation fight scene at the end was seriously weak could've actually been done better , i actually felt sorry for Andy Garcia being in this film who a season actor. Even the whole romance thing with Ana VillafaƱe character Sofia Martinez was poorly done, it was confusing the way it was written to whether they are a couple or not.

This is one film sadly that shouldn't of been on at the cinema & should be a straight to dvd film as it just so badly written in character scripting & concept it unreal. People complain about their childhood being ruined from teenage mutant ninja turtle & transformers maybe they should complain about this film as it seriously bad.

So many missing opportunities to actually make this a great film special with the armour looking bad ass ,  it just fails massively from lazy script writing & poor concept on the story & characters that this just isn't worth paying full price to see it. Sadly this is a film i can not recommend.
Overall : Poorly executed characters , visual effect are great , poor story
Rating: 4.1 out of 5 for entertainment / 4.2 out of 10 for characters/ concept.
