Story: Stranded after a tragic plane crash, two strangers must forge a connection to survive the extreme elements of a remote snow-covered mountain. When they realize help is not coming, they embark on a perilous journey across hundreds of miles of wilderness, pushing one another to endure and discovering strength they never knew possible

Likes: Story based on the novel by Charles Martin tell the story of two strangers to pull together by fate and forced to battle against all odds to survive, as their small aircraft crashed in what looks like the mountains of Canada in a remote area far from civilization.

The cinematography is beautiful is show a beautiful snowy wilderness and mountain ranges, which give the feel of a remote beautiful place but one of the most extremely dangerous places to survive as the element can kill.

Through the whole film it focuses on Idris Elba, Kate Winslet characters as they journey together against all odds to survive, with brilliant on-screen chemistry really sell the story perfectly as you feel their struggle through every moment.

You may think well this seems really boring but it actually is a compelling film that keeps you watching to the very end, special with a heart-wrenching moment as we get to know these characters and a few intense scene it keeps this film interesting.

It's not just a film about the character survival it about the heart of human nature in a situation like this, it the heart of courage and risk-taking that connect this film to the audience, This is what makes you route for their survival throughout the film; special the heartfelt moment at the end that's truly how you end a film of this type when love is involved follow your heart and never give up.

Although this film is great it might not be for everyone some many not like this, just depend on your taste of film's but it's an unrated film and worth watching.
Dislikes: The only flaw in this film which is basically visible is the plane scene the green screen of the mountain make the scene of them fly look fake, this tends to look bad in a film special with the crash as well it did look a bit fake. This clearly was down to low budget which could easily have been corrected in the film.

Overall: Great compelling story of survival against all odds and love in the most unlikely of places

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 7.9 out of 10 for the concept.
