Story: In a brand new Jumanji adventure, four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game's jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don't just play Jumanji - you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they'll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves - or they'll be stuck in the game forever, to be played by others without break.

Likes : (Just note this is a sequel, not a reboot) Welcome back to the wild dangerous jungle of Jumanji, only this time the stakes are higher. Jumanji welcome to the jungle is set a few year on in 1997 as the board game find itself in someone else's hand's but being 1997 no one plays board game anymore, but what this film does is clever way of changing the game to a video game which is brilliantly done plus like before one person disappears after playing.

This is what you get in the introduction of the film, which then skips twenty years and the mayhem start again as four random students find themselves in detention decide to play the game. Which is what we see from the trailer as they get sucked into the game and their characters, only the stake are high because they can actually die in the game with only 3 lives.

But the question is? is this film really good? It not an Oscar winner that for sure but it is highly entertaining in parts, with typical teenage stereotypes with the shy girl, the typical jock who only cares about himself, it girl that think life is about looking sexy with selfies and the nerdy kid who loves doing nerd things.

So when they end up in the game it kind of changes who they are as people, and as the film progress, you come to see a lot of their behaviour changes over time which was good for the story and character. There was a few moment this film does get the funny special with Jack black trying to play a teenage girl in a man's body, those moments we're funny special with the others as well.

So the film does offer a lot of laughter in places although sometimes it does feel a little forced at time, when it comes to Dwayne Johnson acting which is brilliant playing a nerdy kid, but you can tell he was having fun with the character when he was doing the smoldering look scenes and with the comment that we're coming from Jack black character was hilarious.

But this film seriously was worth watching just to see Karen Gillan in that outfit, I'll be honest with this GOD DAMN! she was hot. With her performance playing this role she done pretty well special with her action scene as she kicked ass in this film, even given us some hilarious moments as well. Kevin Hart does try to be funny but just seem to be the weakest character in the film, to be honest, not that he wasn't good in this film just felt a little out of place.

As for the film as a whole is entertaining, full of action moments with a good follow up the story to the original late Robin Williams (R.I.P rest in piece) which the film does gladly honour with a tribute to Robin's character which was brilliantly done in the film if you catch it. I like that the whole world around Jumanji is controlled certain item which actually is the reason for the whole concept of the game sucking players into the game.

So if you looking for a fun-filled entertaining film before Christmas this is a film to watch.

Dislikes : It not a brilliant film per say but it entertaining at best, I just found the story to be a little short on story and when it comes to villains it was a little weak, there were some moments you could tell they were in front of a green screen although lot of the film is filmed on locations.

Overall: Fun-filled adventure film with some funny moments and good actions scenes.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 7.5 out of 10 for the concept.
