Likes: From the words of pinhead himself this story will tear your soul apart on just how shockingly bad this film is, I mean don't get me wrong it, not a bad effort, but it, not a good bad, coming from dimension films im shocked they even let this film out.

Hell Raiser for years since the 80's is one of the most cult classic horror films around, with the one and only Pinhead Doug Bradley give the audience such a chilling and disturbing attitude as he would toy with the sinner with that chilling pure darkness voice of his before tearing them apart.

Over the year since the last film Hell Raiser Bloodline, the Hellraiser film has slowly been on the decline into a hell of its own excuse the pun, sadly there is nothing good I can say about this other than it was a nice try but ultimately failed.

Dislikes: This film kind of has the right idea of a sinner being judged from bloodletting of his sins which would work if it was done right, but having a theme of angels as well seriously who wrote this trash.

Hell Raiser is not about Angels, it about Hell itself and the very darkness of Pinhead making the suffering of a sinner his pleasure, not to mention hell'a of a lot more gore than this film shows. You would think that directors would learn by now.

Special the last Hellraiser 9 revelation film which was shockingly bad, which you can see why Doug Bradley didn't what to do, you would think they would learn from that mistake that Hell Raiser isnt the same without Doug Bradley, let be honest doesn't work without him.

The film direction is not a bad one but should have been executing better, the premises of having a sinner judge by bloodletting is a great idea but sadly this film doesn't execute this well on screen with the shock storytelling and the seriously poor presence of pinhead from Paul T. Taylor who just hasn't got that tone or look to play this role.

All in all this film feels like a cheap knock-off of Hellraiser concept that worst than Revelation that Clive Barker would be shaking his head at, truly the only way this franchise could make a strong come back is have Del Toro or Clive Barker to come back and Writer/director hellraiser.

The worst part of this has to be they Cancelled Hell Raiser Origins for this pile of crap, which looked better.

Overall: Promising direction just poorly executed, worst than Revelation, if you a Hell Raiser fan this will disappoint you

Rating: 2.1 out of 5 for Entertainment / 2.5 out of 10 for Hellraiser concept.
