Likes: Ok let not beat around the bush here, yes over the years there were a lot of adaption of this story told is serval way, from disney animation film robin hood told with animals characters, To serval Tv series and now three films from prince of thieves, Russel crows robin hood and now this 2018 robin hood version.

Which is why it kind of hard to get this film across to the audience because almost everyone knows the story of robin hood by now. After watching this new version and reading reviews, I do feel as if people are over analyzing this because it's not as bad as its made out to be.

Is it perfect? no, don't expect this to be an Oscar-worthy film because its far from it, but the film is very entertaining and straightforward telling of the fable story of Robin Hood. But rather than telling the story of what been done before they given this story a mix like it's an origin story where Ben Mendelsohn's Sheriff of Nottingham isnt the true Sheriff that we all know of, but rather a predecessor. Ben Mendelsohn does a great job with although the film does need a sequel.

The beautiful Eve Hewson with that Scottish accent done a brilliant performance and great voice with the accent to give a really beautiful Scottish woman in the dark ages with a badass attitude and fearless which is what I loved about her character, a strong independent woman with a loving heart giving a great believable performance.

Jamie Foxx is brilliant as little john giving a performance of a once enemy turn to a mentor in the art of the bow with speed shooting which is an ancient archery technic called The Archimandrite: Saracen speed archery, which allows you to have accuracy and speed to shoot 30 arrows in 30 second which is amazing art form to take out serval target in second.

With Taron Egerton playing Robin Hood which was a great performance from him giving a rogue style Robin hood playing a spy in the government while undermining them, really brings this film to light with all round great performance from all the cast. So ya this film is harshly judged as its really a great film with a new twist to the story.

There no point me going over the story of Robin Hood as by now most everyone should know his story by now, but if you go into this film and just accept it as it is you should enjoy it, but if you over analyzing the film ya you gonna find the story is already been told which is why I said it a hard film to put across to the audience.

Dislikes: My only gripe with this film which felt off is a party scene, the clothing looked a little too modern for a dark age story, that the one thing I found a little off about the film.

Overall: Great story, a new twist, great performance, great action scenes

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 7.6 out of 10 for a new version of Robin Hood
