Sex & Nudity:
  • There are a handful of brief, non-graphic sex scenes, with minimal nudity (backs, side of breasts, etc.) there is absolutely no private parts shown, however.
  • A man gets a steroid injection in the buttocks. We see his butt from the side.
  • A drag queen asks a man to sign her fake breasts and removes her shirt for him to do so. She says later in the movie I have my Jackson boobs on, but the breasts are fake and don't look very real.
  • For a split second, Lady Gaga is fully nude from the front. The shot isn't focused on her and it's far away, but it is noticeable. The bathroom door closes immediately behind her and it is extremely hard to notice any of her.
  • Man and woman are naked in a bathtub. Woman's nipple is briefly shown.

Violence & Gore:
  • A woman punches a man in the face, and she's later shown with bruised knuckles

Story: Seasoned musician Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper) discovers and falls in love with struggling artist Ally (Gaga). She has just about given up on her dream to make it big as a singer - until Jack coaxes her into the spotlight. But even as Ally's career takes off, the personal side of their relationship is breaking down, as Jack fights an ongoing battle with his own internal demons.

Likes: There isnt many films that blow me away emotionally as not a lot of film have that emotionally driven plot like this one, ya, you're probably thinking it just another musical film which isnt far from the truth but it more than just a musical film.

At the heart of this film is the drama in which a lot of people can relate to, especial when you're dealing with your own demons with depression and alcohol while trying to keep it together for someone you love.

This film represents this perfectly and with it being Bradley Copper first time directing I will say fantastic directing and brilliant screenwriting, but what make this film even more incredible is the fact there was no lipsyncing in this film, what you hear from Gaga and Bradley Cooper is real.

Before filming, Gaga said if they are gonna do this we sing live on stage, which Bradley took to extensive vocal training for, results speak for themselves Bradley is a good singer. The story takes you on a journey where Ally (gaga) is a struggling songwriter until fate brings her to Jack (Bradley) her life is changed to a successful musician overnight.

Now ive never expected a film to hit me as hard as this when you see Bradley character swirl into depression due to a condition with his hearing, suffering from depression my self with (PTSD) and going through some personal health issue I can relate to just how hard things can get which Bradley performance was haunting perfect.

With fantastic performance and her first acting in a film, Lady Gaga was phenomenal like it was a natural movie star who gave amazing on-screen chemistry with Bradley giving us one of the best emotional films to date. From what I read she had to walk off set during a scene being the film, which I found out the reason.

During filming before the film finished it few last scenes, Lady Gaga best friend had passed away from cancer, but she was too late getting there to say goodbye her, what she did damn near broke my heart and had me in tears she laid with her best friend and sung a song.

The song she sings is in the film "I'll Never Love Again" she sang for her best friend which has a lot of meaning in this film, it added to that moment which gives the film an emotional ending. If there is a film I recommend watching this would be one as it a classic hit movie that will still be remembered for years to come.
