Parents advised reading before viewing the film as some scenes may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity:
  • There is no nudity or even partial nudity.
  • A young woman tries to come on to a slightly older man by shoving her hand down the front of his pants.
  • A teen girl is implied to be having sex with her boyfriend. Nothing is shown it is only briefly spoken of.

Violence & Gore:
  • An entity is stalking people using an app that counts down to your death; when it gets to its victims it often tosses them around before finally killing them. The violence is often shocking but not overtly graphic.

Profanity:
  • Mild language is used, with the exception of one use of a stronger expletive, "f**k".

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking:
  • Teens are seen playing drinking games at a party.
  • Several instances of drug overdoses and the use of Narcan to revive the overdoser.

Frightening/Intense Scenes:
  • The demonic entity attached to the app is pretty frightening in appearance and screams like a banshee every time it lunges for a victim; it also frequently poses as its former victims, but hideously deforming their bodies & faces.
  • Every time a victim's countdown is coming close to the end, the film is very suspenseful as they try to escape it; their phones also frequently scream and make loud noises to warn the victim that death is coming.
  • The theme of fate is used to a quite frightening effect in the film as the victims' fates are sealed once the app tells them their remains time and attempting to escape it will often only result in even more gruesome consequences.
  • The way that characters are tossed around and dragged by the entity is often startling and shocking.

Story: When a nurse downloads an app that claims to predict the moment a person will die, it tells her she only has three days to live. With the clock ticking and a figure haunting her, she must find a way to save her life before time runs out.

Likes: I'm actually surprised with this film actually being good, though it's still a little flawed in places. Normal when it comes to these types of horrors, you normally get unintelligent characters that do stupid things and get themselves killed for stupid reasons.

Here this film is actually an interesting and original concept that feels strangely applicable to our modern society especial with our own Society with alot of people bury themselves in their phones, the concept of this film actually works for the film.

Elizabeth Lail
as the main character of the film character puts in a great performance in a very intelligent way which is refreshing in these type of films, as she comes off a very strong female with a very human quality with a vulnerable side trying to protect the ones she loves as well as fight for her own life as the clock ticking down.

I wouldn't say the film is over frightening, but the does hold that creepiness and the spin chill atmosphere pretty well throughout the film, especial when the tall dark shadowy figure starts showing itself in a very creepy sinister manor.

Surprisingly this film doesn't have inconsistencies or plot holes, which im even surprised with so Justin Dec has done pretty well with this film, especial with imagination which in itself is refreshing so i'l give an A for effort on delivering a good film which this film actually is, but there are area of this film that could've been left out and some better added this would have be awesome film.

Dislikes: A few things in this film that could have been left out it wouldn't have affected the film in any way, especial the pointless sexual harassment subplot which was weird for this film as it kind of goes nowhere.

I feel that the comic relief priest was kind of pulling the film down because the tone of the film was trying to be serious, it kind of loses its tone with the priest, which I think could've done with a more serious role, it would have been better for the film.

While some scenes are good, it is a little predictable in places with a few jumps scares but still a good film in other areas so it not a totally bad film.

Overall: Creepy dark, Good imagination in concept, good acting. A pretty solid film with Minor flaws

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 7.8 out of 10 for Imagination
