Story: Based on the global blockbuster videogame franchise from Sega, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG tells the story of the world's speediest hedgehog as he embraces his new home on Earth. In this live-action adventure comedy, Sonic and his new best friend Tom (James Marsden) team up to defend the planet from the evil genius Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) and his plans for world domination. The family-friendly film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.

Likes: Surround the controversy of the original design of sonic that even i was disgusted with im happy to say that the design change total the best thing they did, because i can express this as much as i can this film was a perfect sonic the hedgehog movie with minor flaws that didnt real effect the film.

I'm one of several million gamers that grow up in the 80s that have actually played sonic on the original mega drive, which over the year has evolved in to several different games included sonic racer. Ben Schwartz has the perfect voice for sonic that really stand out for the animation of the sonic look, giving him a very Sadness of emotional content where he just wants a friend to a sarcastic take the piss out Dr robotic moments which end in Hilarious results from Jim Carry playing Dr robotic, giving the film some of the best Entertainment this film has to offer. James Marsden also gave a like-able performance as Tom Wachowski and also having his fair share of funny moments as well.

Oh Jim Carry is back to his old 90's self with this absolute outrageous nutty self which absolute perfect for Dr Robotic, Give some of the best acting ive seen with some out right funny moments as he get frustrated with sonic. while the film isn't groundbreaking by any means, it still provides much needed entertainment thanks to its respectful take on the source material from the sonic franchise, just like the way the Pokemon Detective Pikachu before it.

We watch as Sonic dashes around causing mischief and escaping danger through different environments like the big city or the quiet countryside, deriving enjoyment along the way. This led to some amusing Quicksilver/Deadpool-esque moments which provided great comic relief during several action scenes. We also see the original sonic world with original curve rings and ramps which add a lot of nostalgia to the original sonic game, even if you not a Die hard sonic fan this offend good entertainment and family value for your kids to enjoy.

This is a film that everyone should support not just on the hard work in a studio going out there way to give the film a much need change, but to support a film that deserve a sequel especial after the two end credit scene which one surprise that i actually didnt see coming which was a damn awesome end credit scene which you have to stay a watch because if you a die hard fan your gonna love it.

Dislikes: There is a slight flaw in the matter of being branded a terrioest which the story-line of this kind of goes no where but end weird like it didnt happen type of thing but it doesnt effect the film one bit

Overall: Absolute Entertainment value for Die hard fans and family's, the best adaption of game yet.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 9.3 out of 10 for Adaption.
