Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: There's a brief gesture that's meant to signify oral sex.

A man tries to implant semen into a woman by force through a vial, but he fails. Moments later the vial with the semen is shoved into the man's mouth

Violence & Gore: The portrayal of infliction of pain and injuries is depicted with some detail of blood and gore, but is never prolonged or frequent.

There is a constant sense of threat through the film as the characters try to escape from the house, punctuated by scenes of violence.

Some of the stronger scenes of violence include a character being restrained in a painful arm lock before being shot; a character's head being smashed against metal pipes; a character punched repeatedly in the face until he bleeds; as well as the blind man stomping a character's leg and choking her until she blacks out.
Profanity: The film contains some use of coarse language, such as the expletive "f**k".

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: A woman's mother and her boyfriend smoke and drink at the beginning.

Frightening/Intense Scenes:  'Don't Breathe' is a thriller about three thieves who break into a blind man's house to rob him, only to find themselves trapped in a deadly struggle for survival when they stumble upon the blind man's secret.

Story: Rocky, a young woman wanting to start a better life for her and her sister, agrees to take part in the robbery of a house owned by a wealthy blind man with her boyfriend Money and their friend Alex. But when the blind man turns out to be a more than he seems, the group must find a way to escape his home before they become his newest victims.

Likes : WOW this film wasn't perfect as this type of story has been done similarly before but dam this film is good for when it get disturbing , i mean seriously twisted & dark disturbing from the moment these three enter this guys house.

Whats clever about this film is that it use silence as a weapon as the main character of the film is blind they relie on sound & touch which is a clever concept for this film ,  as your think well how can a blind man defend himself if he cant see? Yet this guy in question played brilliantly by Stephen Lang show just because your blind doesn't mean you can see.

Stephen lang is both terrifying & disturbing at the same time playing this character , at first you start to feel sorry for this guy because his blind lost everything for these three break into his home you start to think this is wrong , but then as the film progress it twist your point of view to feeling sorry for these guy that actually break in to this house.

It from this moment when Rocky ( Jane Levy) , Alex (Dylan Minnette) & Money (Daniel Zovatto) break in you start to see something is very off about the house like it seem too empty for someone living in this home, it not until thing start happen you realise the dark & very twist sick concept of the story that is going, it build's this up slowly without revealing to much straight away.

This isn't really a jump scare movie , it more of a dark thriller where someone has made the mistake of picking on the wrong house type of film, which is good because it adds value to the film concept keep the audience on the edge of the seats.

This film is very intense & disturbing in areas , there were moments i looked away from the screen for slip second but most of the film add tension as they are trying to escape every sound they make will lead to there where about in the house.

Some of the best acting ive seen in a while in these types of film's as you dont have the normal idiot running around being hard or screaming woman running away from a killer, this is actually a dam good film or though highly disturbing but a good film to watch.

Dislikes : There are part of this film that could of been more frightening but with the film being intense & disturbing it still manages to be great film, just not as frightening as it made out to be from the trailers.

Overall : Intense rolloercoaster ride with a twisted & disturbing concept as the story progress, worth watching.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 8.7 out of 10 for concept
