Story: "Mr. Church" tells the story of a unique friendship that develops when a little girl and her dying mother retain the services of a talented cook - Henry Joseph Church. What begins as a six month arrangement instead spans into fifteen years and creates a family bond that lasts forever.
Likes : You know i haven't seen Eddie Murphy in a film for a long time, going in to this film i didn't expect it to actually hit my emotions this much , it such a beautiful made mellow drama.
I love the base of this story, sometime in life you met that one person that becomes apart of your life like family , it that bond of friendship last forever. This is basically what this film is about Eddie Murphy play's a young man Henry Church hired to take care of a family after the mothers husband die, what seem like a simple job end up in bond that will never break, this by far is one of the best performance Eddie has done in a while.
Natalie Coughlin playing the younger version of charlie brilliant young actress play the daughter with an attitude at first , she does it well on screen , Britt Robertson is incredible playing charlie all grown up its done in such a seamless way pass the years from her collage life to adult life, it done it such a beautiful way it compelling.
I will for warn you this is something i didn't expect is the fact it a bit of a emotional tear jerker movie as well , because its a film that draws you into the bond between church & charlie you see their friendship grow for years, you get emotional invested in the film when the time comes , you will be in tears just by the way it beautiful done.
Im not normal one for drama film's but this is one film not too be missed that not something you hear me say everyday, seriously if you get the chance watch this film you wont be disappointed.
Dislikes : Nothing wrong with this film brilliant made.
Overall : Heart warming tear jerker of friendship & that bond that last forever. a must see.
