Story: In 1965 Los Angeles, a widowed mother and her two daughters add a new stunt to bolster their seance scam business and unwittingly invite authentic evil into their home. When the youngest daughter is overtaken by a merciless spirit, the family confronts unthinkable fears to save her and send her possessor back to the other side

Likes : Set in Los Angeles in the 1960's, 'Ouija: Origin of Evil' is a prequel to the 2014 horror film 'Ouija'. that flop because it was over predictable & used too many jump scares, This prequel revolves around a widowed woman who runs a scam seance business as a means of livelihood to support her two daughters.

When she adds a Ouija board to her seance, she unwittingly opens her home to evil this is where this film take on a seriously extremely creepy feel , If you remember omen this is what this film feel like.
This is the second film ive seen from director Mike Flanagan who done oculus which was another creepy film he did , he never once drop the ball on this film has it actually is genuinely frightening & extremely creepy with certain scene.

One young actress that stand out more who actually starred in oculus as the younger version of the character Lulu Wilson her acting ability to play a creepy child is outstanding , as her character become possessed as we see in the trailer you start notice character change as she goes from the nice little girl to this creepy psychotic child. when i mean creepy i mean extremely creepy with the effect & light that just add's that chill to the bone creepiness really make this one of the most frightening film;'s this year.

Elizabeth Reaser is a brilliant actress playing the mother of the two sister who trying to make a living , Annalise Basso is brilliant performance as the older sister who see the change in her sister before anyone does, Henry Thomas is brilliant as well playing the priest who get involved with the family notices that things arnt what they seem.

One thing this film does which is brilliantly done is everything is set for the 60 theme concept that the time is set in, plus this film does a brilliant job at setting up the ending that ties in with the first Ouija film that came out in 2014 which is a shame because the director that made that film failed.

Too behonest i think that 2014 film should of been done by
Mike Flanagan because what he done with this film is brilliant, no jump scare everything flow natural the scare are actually natural time like they just come out of no where with no music or anything to actually scare you which make this a genially frightening film.

Im not normal one for being frighten of horror film because just lately of the past few years these horror have been mediocre use jump scare to frighten the audience but this film use none of this which made me jump at least 5 time through the film without warning. So this is a horror film i recommend if you love too be seriously creeped out & frightened.

Dislikes

Overall : Natural frightening film, with extremely creepy effects & brilliant acting
