Likes : I've got say this film is one of the best original sci-fi films that hasn't been adapted from a book, it one of those film that going to get mixed reviews as not lot of people will understand the plot of the film as it dosent really have a villain or hero, it more of a inspirational message to the people of earth to never give up so easy.
I love the way it use's the Metaphor of life: Two wolves in the forest always fighting, always at each other throats, The black wolf represents : Darkness, Pain & Despair, The white wolf represents: light, love & harmony. Who wins? that depends on which you feed more.
Its basically saying that giving up is easy its take the creative mind of dreamers to actual push to make a better world which this film beautifully puts across, as you see the fate of the human race, basically the way we are now because all we do is give up & look at darkness all the time instead of seeing the world & seeing that we have a chance to save it from destruction if with just look at the brighter side of things.
The visual effects in this film are stunning in show a 'Tomorrowland', a city bustling futuristic metropolis where world's brightest minds are gathered together to save the world from impending destruction. It's a place with 'Perfection' written all over it: trains zoom across the sky through air rails snaking between and around looming skyscrapers, while other airborne automobiles fly here and there like the entire space between sky and earth is nothing but a single boulevard, layers of waterpools hang adrift in the air, and swimmers swoop down from one to another, while flare rockets surge toward the sky in whistling upward projections.
The start of the film we given a slight back story of George Clooney's character as a child inventor who discovers a whole new world, brilliant performance as always from clooney, which is funny at the start as he try to tell his story but get interrupted every mid sentence by Britt Robertson character Casey Newton which if you have a sense of humor you might laugh at or not.
But the film as a whole give a message which rely on heavy humanity concept which some people with there reviews don't seem to grasp the concept which is a shame but perfect example of why this film put across. This is a film worth checking out
Dislikes : Some might not understand this film, so this will be a film really your love or hate.
Overall : great visual effects, brilliant acting, Great reflection of humanity.
Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 8.8 out of 10 for original concept
