Likes : This is how physiological horror film should be done with a dark atmosphere that slowly build's up its concept to keep the audience on edge , what you get is a creepy & very frightening film that will play on the mind of any one working in the morgue.

What i love about this film is the fact it doesnt use the typical jump scares through the film to frighten the audience , it's all natural scare as the atmosphere of the film keep you on edge you find your self wondering whats going on.

This is where the frightening moment of the film scares the audience that you don' see coming special with the elements of a dark atmospheric concept ,  which is very close to a silent hill's IP demo game that wasn't released & cancelled but you can see the certain element of this throughout the film which is great for this horror.

Along with it creepy atmosphere & the creepy radio that playing in the back ground which really add's to the film creepiness of the horror atmosphere , you really get drawn into this dark atmospheric film that will give you the chill's & wont let you sleep easy after watching.

Both Emile Hirsch and Brian Cox gave stellar performances throughout the film give us a believable and very frightening situation. Which if you imagine being trap in an underground morgue the only way out is blocked , between that is a supernatural force out for blood so you can see how dark this film is with a creepy atmosphere ! ya a very frightening situation.

What clever about this film direction is that once you see whats going on it doesn't easy up and doesn't reveal the whole story straight away which give this film it's edge ,  as it doesnt lose the audience at all which is good for the film keep the audience glued to the screen.

With the main concept of what is going on will shock you as it put a chill down you spine  as you see the creepiness unfold , the story starts to reveal itself to the audience this is where it gets seriously creepy.

If there was a film this year you should watch in the horror genre this is the film to start you year off , with its frightening dark atmosphere & its creepy undertone this is truly one of the most creepiest film in the horror genre ive seen in awhile that gives an ending will give you chills for days.

Dislikes : Dispite this film actually being frighting there is two flaws in this film i noticed.
(One) is the scene with the cat , with what happened they didnt kind of find it a little suspicious which is was a little off.

(Two) was a scene where the main character said there was no phone signal , yet the phone was saying no signal but the signal bar was full.

Overall : Creepy dark atmosphere , genuinely frightening without cheap scare jumps. a must to watch.

Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 9 out of 10 for concept.
