Story: Marcus and Mike have to confront new issues (career changes and midlife crises), as they join the newly created elite team AMMO of the Miami police department to take down the ruthless Armando Armas, the vicious leader of a Miami drug cartel.
Likes: When it come to a Third installment of a film they tend to be a little medicroe and not as good as the first two movies, while im happy to say Bad Boys for life doesnt fall for that trap. While giving the Audience a good entertaining and some what funny moments which mostly comes from markus, with out right side slipping comedy, the film does have a serious tone as this time Mike past comes back to haunt him, some people close him get hurt in the cross fire.
I do like that they've given this third film more setup with a team to help them call ammo, while on the other hand im not sure if i like the direction this is going in. While the action in this film is great there are some nod to michael bay which it's very self ware of this, with thing just randomly explode without any reason to.
Even though it been a few years since they actually made a film together i will say that even though it been a few years, their on screen chemistry together as bothers in arms still has that dynamite and comfortable fit like they had never left the franchise which still works for the film, so fan of the Bad boys films wont be disappointed with this third installment.
While i would give praise to this film, i did however notice some flaws and a direction that im not sure this franchise should go in, as i think a third film was enough didnt really need another one, which i come to flaws.
Dislikes: A table explode made absolute no sense to explode as there was nothing on it to make it do that, which was the only flaw i found, but as good as this film was, i cant help but think this is a franchise that about to be milked because it does give off this Expendable / fast and furious vibe which im not really sure is gonna work for this film franchise which personal i think 3 films is enough and not ruin it by make serval films that gonna ruin it.
Overall: Great action, good acting, good third installment.
Rating: 5 out of 5 for Entertainment / 8.9 out of 10 for third installment.
