Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

Sex & Nudity: None. There are no sex or nudity shown in this movie.

Violence & Gore:
  • The gore shown in the movie is mild and is justified by context - There are a few scenes with dead bodies at a hospital, one in particular shows a corpse with the chest cavity missing, this is shown a couple times but the blood shown is quite minimal. A few PG-13 level fight and shootout scenes, but overall the violence is fairly limited. Nothing beyond what you would see on a CBS cop show.
  • Blood from an accident is shown. Grazes, bruises, scars and open wounds shown.
  • A man is pepper sprayed in the eyes.
  • A man gets a syringe in him to sedate him whilst being aggressive to hospital staff.
  • A man is shot in the knee cap.
  • A man chokes another man until he cannot breathe and becomes unconscious.
  • Carcuses are shown in a lab/morgue where the organs have been removed from the bodies. Quite graphic and gory scenes. One scene shows a dead body with eyes gauged out.
  • A man grabs a gun from a police officer and takes someone hostage at gun point.
  • An explosion occurs with four people being caught in it. You see the fire engulf the persons.
  • Two men have a fist fight where punches to the face, stomach and throat are shown.
  • A woman is punched and falls head first onto a rusty nail and blood pours out.

Profanity:
  • Approx 20 uses of F**k though none are sexual in nature, at least one use of S**t. There is very little language throughout most of the film and the profanity is bunched in a few scenes.
  • There are quite a few "F" words and other swear words
  • I heard 7x F-words throughout (with 1x-2x heard in background, not in the dialogue). Not anywhere near 20x as the previous comment suggested. A couple of S-Words scattered here and there infrequently. Mild.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: Medicinal drug references. A man is seen buying two whisky miniature bottles at a shop counter and later confesses to being a recovering alcoholic. A man gets a syringe in him by hospital staff to sedate him as he is being aggressive. The man later injects himself three times with adrenaline to come off the sedation he has been given. A man gets pepper sprayed in the eyes. A woman complains to a man that she has been injected with a sedative.

Frightening/Intense Scenes The movie has a very uneasy and dark atmosphere throughout.

Story: Driving cross-country, Ray and his wife and daughter stop at a highway rest area where his daughter falls and breaks her arm. After a frantic rush to the hospital and a clash with the check-in nurse, Ray is finally able to get her to a doctor. While the wife and daughter go downstairs for an MRI, Ray, exhausted, passes out in a chair in the lobby. Upon waking up, they have no record or knowledge of Ray's family ever being checked in.

Likes: I've gotta give Credit where credit is due as this was an absolute solid psychological thriller that manages to actually keep you hooked even though the end in the third act is slight predictable if you spot the sign in the film. This Films edge is given by absolute amazing performances which i will say Sam Worthington is an underrated actor, because he's performance in this film giving a believable guy that love his family trying to find out what going on is outstanding acting.

Its give this film an uneasy setting as Sam character become unpredictable throughout the film, which give the audience something to be hook on as you have no idea what he about to do next, this is what is Solid about the writing for this film as it well scripted and well execute throughout, keep you hook to the screen trying to find out what the hell is going on.

Film start off with them having a bit of issue from thanksgiving and something happens that forces them to seek medical help, this is where the film take on a very dark psychological tone and atmosphere as the film start to unfold it main plot. You can tell this is a Brad Anderson film, because with alot of his thrillers his tend to have this  similar twist and ambiguous endings, special from the season 9 and the film The Machinist he directed.

While most would compare this film to similar film, it more like  Flightplan, Forgotten, Shutter Island, Memento and The Shining, that will give you a solid performance film with a shockingly dark twist ending that may or not see coming special with the way this film throws you off and keep you guessing. This show a well directed and solid script writing from someone that know how to keep the audience engage in the film.

So this is a film i would recommend watching if you into the psychological thrillers, this one wont disappoint.

Dislikes: The Ending maybe predictable for some, which may ruin you view on this film, but the solid acting keep this film going. but will depend on the audience viewing it

Overall: Dark twisted ending, solid script writing, Amazing performance. worth checking out

Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 8.9 out of 10 for Psychological thriller
