But what starts out as the most protected event on earth, turns into a deadly plot to kill the world's most powerful leaders and unleash a terrifying vision of the future. The President of the United States, his formidable secret service head and an English MI-6 agent who trusts no one are the only people that have any hope of stopping it.
Likes :Gerard Butler is back !!!!!! You know there is one person in the world that fight on the side of the good that you just dont want to mess with well Mike Banning is one such man reprised by Gerard Butler, who is on top form with this sequel.
Just like the first film Olympus has fallen where mike banning got put in the middle of a terrorist attack on the white house, this takes place in London on a routine funeral attendance when attack comes from a world most wanted list gun runner attack the city putting Mike Banning in the seat to protect the president again.
Unlike before the scene's in this squeal is more intense & brutal as the film flow on a steady pace as you see the city falling apart, ya the were a few scene where it felt off but the film has a whole is a fast pace action film of intense & emotional moments.
One thing about this this that break up the tension is the funny one-liners between Mike banning & president Benjamin Asher played brilliantly again by Aaron Eckhart who actually get a bit of a action scene in this one for a brief moment.
The film does start off a little slow but once the action starts, it all fast paced from there with alot strong language & funny banter that make this a very good squeal, It a little strange seeing that back set on London street, it was like watch a series in London only it's a film that bring on twice the action & more bad guys. A film i can recommend watching if you loved the first film.
Dislikes : Some c.g.i scene were questionable with the explosion but the film as a whole was actually good.
Overall : Fast pace action, intense moments funny banter, good squeal
Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment / 8 out of 10 for concept
